| So you wish to start your own Nerf website? And you've got no experiance? Well, these helpful TIPS and suggestions should do the job to get you started. |
| STEP 1 - DOMAIN To start things off, you'll need a wensite maker service. This is the main body of it all. Like, I use Geocities to create my website. | STEP 2 - CONTENT What makes a site, is the content. Proper grammar and spelling is the key to being able to understand what your talking about in your content aswell. If you dont know how to spell something, DO NOT put (sp) next to it. Go to www.dictionary.com if you need help spelling something. And never, say "see yeah" "c ya" or got to go" when your done telling something. Cause you want the site to stay, not have it end with you going. That just makes everything annoying. Another part of your content besides spelling and grammar, is the, well, content. Always have lots of things to do in your pages. Have multiple mods, have multiple homemades, have as much content on your page as you can, go out with the fullist. So that you can keep the user whos veiwing your site, want more. AND BE ORIGINAL. Copying stuff off of another site will be like a worste versian of that site you copied off. |
| STEP 3 - OTHER USEFUL STUFF Here are some useful tools that you might want to use to help you tweek out your site with. Flaming Text - Create headers, banners, buttons, and other useful things for your site. Cool Archive - Create headers, banners, buttons, etc. Ad Designer - Create flash ads to promote your site. |
