If ever there is a tomorrow . . .
For life may end right now,
let the love songs sing,
for they might never be heard again.
Let the leaves topple,
and dance with the winds,
for the autumn that follows shall be eternal.
For if life ends right now,
let it be known that once,
in a far away land,
was born a hope, a dream,
and an idealist princess,
who worshipped and sought,
the passion of life, the reality of truth.
Let it be known to all,
that the transgressions of ideals are no more novel,
than the sun that rises every morning,
and disappears with the dusk.
But leaves painted in its pastel hues,
the destiny of endless desires,
and forever mornings to come.
When each morning shall bring a conquest,
over the dark veils of the night.
