| Darkness enveloping
the vale,
its intense blackness sheltering all life. The green of the living deepening, the cool breeze blowing, pleasing all senses, as a breath of life, so refreshing, so appeasing, yet in its muffled whispers, I sense a sadness, a sadness so disguised, like an old tune fading with the aging years, yet its rythym brings to the heart, rebirth of emotions long lost and forgotten, yet so treasured deep within, and I look up again, to see the sun descending, its aura diminishing behind the crystalline clouds, their fragile lightness bleakening all light, I close my eyes, absorbing all I inhale, to feel within the intensity, of another hope of life. |
