The First Year
My first year at Oxford was a carefree time.  With relatively little work to do there was plenty of time to party.  This page features many of my favourite miscillaneous moments.  There is a shortage of bop photos but these will be included in a seperate section.
Me, Anthony and Laurence.
The Three Stooges.  As christianed by Kat.  We were heading off for the Freshers Fling '99 at the Oxford Union, one of the few times I made use of my membership.
Despite studying biochemistry at Oxford Dave's ambition was to be a teapot.
Tom, Laurence, David and Alec
The Time Ceremony - lots of inebriated Mertonians walking round a quad backwards, drinking port, when the clocks go back.  A fine tradition dating back to the 1970s!  Sometimes you have to worry about Oxford students, especially ones at this college...
The Pimps and Prostitutes Party in North Lodge.  In our first year North Lodge hosted numerous parties, all of which were dire unless you were completely wasted.  Fortunatly we all were.  Few could forget Benedict in "that dress" and Hella.
The transition from Max's birthday to Anthony's celebrated in fine style in Greg's room, shortly before gatecrashing the Union elections in search of more alcohol.
The cast and crew of The Real Inspector Hound, Merton's drama cuppers entry 1999.  I was voted the second best corpse by the judging panal, something for which I will hold an eternal grudge.  Especially since the other person wasn't really a corpse, only in a coma...
Jess, Jenny, Anthony, Tom Edlin and Gary.
Leonie, (Paul), Ros, Rachel and Me.
The aftermath of formal hall.  Fueled by alcohol liberated from the Oxford Union's May Morning breakfast a good time was had by all.  Was followed by a particularly interesting night at the Zodiac...
The last night of Trinity Term 2000.
