| Real Name: Jean-Paul Levasque Nicknames: The Blue Blood, "The Game" Height: 6'4" Weight: 246 Pounds Hometown: Greenwich, Connecticut Finisher: The Pedigree BIO:Triple H made his WWF Debut in May of 1995 as "The All American Blue Blood", and he had almost no fan support. But, although he'd never gotten a big push, he surprised everybody by defeating Marc Mero for the Intercontinental Title in 1997. In that same year, he won the 1997 Title of King Of The Ring, by defeating Mankind in the final round and then beating him with the crown. This started a huge Triple H / Mankind feud that ended at SummerSlam in a Boiler Room Brawl. After that, his long-time friendship with "HBK" Shawn Michaels was revealed and they formed the most entertaining, influencial, and controversial group ever, D-Generation X. They raised hell all over the WWF, by destroying the Hart Foundation, when HBK won the WWF Title from Bret Hart in 1997, and annihilating the Leigon Of Doom, nearly putting them out for good! When HBK lost the WWF Title to Stone Cold Steve Austin at Wrestlemania XIV, HHH claimed that he "dropped the ball", so he took over as 1st in command. In his first night as leader, he recruited The New Age Outlaws, and X-Pac (formerly known as Syxx in WCW), and called themselves the DX Army. They became the most powerful group ever in wrestling.HHH went corporate at WrestleMania XV, in hopes that it would further push his singles career. And it did, seeing has he finally acheived his goal in getting the WWF Championship on the RAW is WAR the night after SummerSlam '99 from Mankind. He then lost the belt for a short amount of time to Vince McMahon with a little help from Steve Austin, but not for long, because he retained his gold only a few weeks later at Unforgiven. |
