Wedding Reception - Guelph Curling Club

The special events started that day around 3:00 with pictures at Riverside Park in Guelph.  (pictures to follow)

After 6:00 we headed back to the Curling Club for the reception.  Here are some pictures.

Here is the cake which we had made by Jirina's bakery of Kitchener.  The layers are carrot, chocolate and vanilla.  We're keeping the carrot cake (top layer) for an event in the future while the chocolate and vanilla were served at the reception.

Here we are dancing the first dance of the evening.  The song is "Infinite Love" by George Strait.  That's why Ann's smile is so big!

Here is Ann preparing to FIRE the bouquet!  She whipped it all the way back behind the head table!  Marianne (Duane's cousin) crawled for it!

And here is Duane fishing for the garter!  Keep it "G" rated there buddy boy!!!  When he threw it, his cousin Daniel caught it!

This is Ann's first dance with her father-in-law!  She looks so scared, doesn't she?  It's okay Ann.  He won't bite!

Since Ann and I work together, here are the co-workers who came for a good time!  Left to right is Bonnie, Ann, Duane, Brad, Linda, Julia and Rachelle.  Thanks for coming guys!

Christine (maid of honour), Ann, Jennifer and Sera.  High school friends.

Tod, Laurie (bridesmaid), Ann and Lisa.  Another bunch from the old days!

Jason (long time friend and emcee), Paul (best man and 25 year friend) and Duane.  a.k.a. "The Boys"

Yep - the last dance.  Shania Twain's "Forever And For Always."  The smiles look fake because we were pretty darn tired at that point!

When we get our proofs back from the photographer, we'll add another page of photos from Riverside Park.  Thanks again for visiting our site.
