This is what happens when your Language Arts teacher tells you to write a ballad
on anything you want. Sorry if you think it's lame. I just thought I should share it with
you guys. Hehe. Hope you like it.

You took my shaky hand in your palm
When you greeted me that sunny day.
I tried my best to remain calm,
But I couldn't think of what to say.
Thankfully you took the lead and said,
"I'm Commander Rabb and you would be?"
I tried to state my rank but instead,
All I could manage was a foolish "Me."
You flashed your silly trademark grin,
I must admit it made my head spin.
I smiled back at you trying to get away
With anything that would make you want to stay.
So now we are the living proof,
We are a Jarhead and a Sailor in love.
I hope we don't blow a hole in the roof...
"Look out! What's that above?"
