| This is my grandmother Minnie Amanda Davis.I still think of her everyday and I still miss her very much. She was there when a person needed to talk or just to visit. I do have to admit that she spoiled me some,but I had stayed with her when the weather was bad so I could go to school. Then when it came time to go to high school I wanted to go to the high school in the town she was living,so mom and my stepfather let me go to stay with her. I went to high school and that is where I met my husband. After we were married and the family started to come she came to visit as often as she could, when I had trouble carrying my second child she was there to help with our oldest son. I went to stay with mom until he was born,and grandma was around to help mom as she had two little ones herself.She was always there for us all. My mom would take her places and they would visit friends and family. She had a couple of heart attacks and the last one ,her heart was worn out and she went to be with grandfather. |
