I was going to tell you, going to stop you from leaving, but the plane was leaving when I got there.
Love Dawson.
JOEY: "He was going to stop me from leaving?"
She looks at her watch. 4:45pm.
JOEY: "Tamsin there’s something I have to do, can you lock up?"
TAMSIN: "Yeah, what’s going..."
She doesn’t finish, Joey isn’t there anymore.

We see various shots of Joey in her car driving. Then she gets stuck in traffic.
JOEY (thinking) : "Why would anyone be driving at this time of day? Why? Oh yeah, the small task of going home from work. Why didn’t I read the note sooner? Maybe then I would have been able to have stopped him leaving sooner. If Pacey hadn’t have come in to the coffee shop then Dawson would have been able to have told me to my face. Was it some sort of sign? Something trying to tell me that I wasn’t supposed to be with Dawson. One minute I’m pregnant with his child, the next I lose it. Then I send him away. Suddenly seven years later something brings us together again and we have this amazing month together. But neither of us say what the other one wants to hear. That we want to be together. We wait until the very last minute. But it’s too long and we don’t get to say what we want to say. But now we have. Or at least he has and if this flight is running on time then I’ve missed him. Again. Maybe that would be a sign."

Just then the cars start moving again and Joey reaches her exit and heads towards the airport.
JOEY (thinking) : "Please don’t make it too late."
Scene: - The airport.
Joey runs over to a check-in desk.
JOEY: "Excuse me could you tell me if the LA flight has left yet?"
WOMAN: "I think it might have been the one that was delayed, gate 14."
JOEY: "Thank you."
We then see Joey running through the airport. Gate 12, gate 13 and then she sees gate 14. There is no one there except an airport employee.
JOEY: "Excuse me, the LA flight . . ."
MAN (pointing out the window) : "That’s it there."
Joey looks at the window to see an airplane taxi down the runway. The man then walks away. Joey just slumps down in a chair and starts to cry. The camera pans out and we see people come and go, no one really paying any attention to the crying Joey.
