Scene: - Dawson’s Garden - Everything is set up for the wedding.

Dawson and Pacey are standing in front of everyone waiting on Joey to arrive. They are both wearing black suits and have a single lily in their lapel.

PACEY: "So are you nervous?"

DAWSON: "ME?"

PACEY: "No Dawson. I just said that to you but really the question was directed at Joey." Dawson just looks at him. "Of course I meant you!"

DAWSON: "No, I’m not nervous. I’m excited, I’m..."

PACEY: "What? You’re what?"

DAWSON: "Getting married to Joey, Joey Potter. Finally."

PACEY: "You’re talking like you’re fifty and it’s taken forever to do this."

DAWSON: "Sometimes it feels like it’s taken forever. I suppose a big part of that is because we’ve known each other for so long. We’ve been such a big part of each others lives. I mean we’ve had over fifteen years together, as friends and as more than that. Some people only have a few years before they marry, some people a few months."

PACEY: "Sorta sounds like you should be celebrating you’re silver wedding anniversary in ten years, doesn’t it?"

DAWSON (laughs) : "Yeah."

Just then Andie walks up to them. Andie is wearing a turquoise floor length dress that is fitted, it has spaghetti straps that criss-cross at the back and a cowel neck.

ANDIE: "She’s here. So are you ready?"

DAWSON: "Yeah I’m ready."

PACEY: "Andie he’s been ready for the past seven years." Andie and Dawson just look at him. "What?"

Andie then walks away leaving Dawson and Pacey.

We then see Jen, Alex and Lily. Jen and Lily’s dresses are the same as the bridesmaid dresses that Phoebe and Rachel wore in friends for Monica and Chandlers wedding. Alex is wearing the same suit as Dawson and Pacey. Jen is sorting Lily’s dress. We then see Bodie getting out of the wedding car and he then helps Joey out. Joey’s wedding dress is ivory, floor length matte satin with a princess silhouette and spaghetti straps. It has tiny baby pink beads and sequins which form a swirling pattern on the bodice, skirt and train. She is carrying a bouquet of lilies. Bessie then appears to fix Joey’s dress. Bessie is wearing a knee length baby pink satin dress with spaghetti straps and tiny white beads on the bodice area.

BODIE: "Well Joey, should we tell her now?"

JOEY: "I think that now would probably be a good time for that."

BESSIE: "Tell me what?"

BODIE: "I’m not giving Joey away?"

BESSIE: "Why not?"

JOEY: "Because you are. Because as much as I think of Bodie as a brother, you’re my sister."

BODIE: "We discussed this a while ago."

JOEY: "And figured that you said ‘No’ to bridesmaid, so you could easily say ‘no’ to this."

BODIE: "So we decided that you where doing it anyway. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go and take ‘my’ seat."

BESSIE: "So that’s why you took extra care in planning my outfit and hair and stuff."

JOEY: "I’d probably have done that anyway."

BESSIE: "Thank you."

JOEY: "What for?"

BESSIE: "I don’t know. Being my sister, putting up with me."

JOEY: "Yeah, you too."

She finally turns to look at where Dawson is standing.

JEN: "So are you ready?"

JOEY: "Oh yeah. I’m definitely ready."

JEN: "I’d just like to take the opportunity to tell you that if you hurt him, I will hunt you down and do nasty things to you."

Joey laugh’s.

BESSIE: "Yeah, me too."

JOEY: "Somehow I think that if I ever do anything to hurt him I’ll do something to myself."

Just then the wedding march starts to play but we don’t really hear it. Alex and Lily walk down the ‘aisle’ together. When they are halfway, Jen starts to follow. Once she has reached the front Joey and Bessie start. Once they reach the front Joey turns to Bessie and gives her a hug. She then turns back to Dawson, who has the biggest grin on his face. She then laughs. Dawson then takes her hand.

PRIEST: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the joining of these two souls in holy matrimony."

We then see Gail and Mitch, Bessie and Bodie, Andie and Drue, Jack and Ben. The scene then goes back to Dawson and Joey later on in the ceremony as the song fades.
