WET CHRISTMAS

What's this your sayin'?
Christmas time again?
Enough to drive a man insane!

All that shoppin' is a pain,
and with children disobeyin',
all my energy gets drained.

Is it all about the Christmas train?
Is it all about the candy canes?
Just to think about it starts to hurt my brain!

It's not about the snow, with all this rain,
nor can it be a sleigh and Santa's reins.
Will this downpour ever wane?

Stuck in this flooded freeway lane,
Now at least I've got some time for prayin',
Cuz on my mind this question's weighin'.

Could it be just what the preacher's sayin'?
That there's a man who cleans my stain?
Could it be about this King who reigns?
