SENTINELS
Standing proudly at the edge of town,
Carefully crafted, sparkling gold and brown,
Greeting guests, announcing merrily,
It's words say, "Welcome to Sun Prairie."
Standing sentry in their inner hearts,
Carefully consulted, never far apart,
Confessing Him on whom they cast their cares,
They say, "We'll come to the Son in prayer."
Beaming proudly in His Father's house,
He sees His friend with kids and spouse,
A sign carefully crafted, He can't wait for them to see,
The words say, "Welcome, my son, see what I've prepared for thee."
