ARISEN
I heard a rushing fountain,
a pleasing, deafening roar,
a dozen jets all firing,
a sound as loud as war.
I watched the dancing fountain,
the lovely, lively bay,
the dozen plumes all twirling,
the masterpiece ballet.
I looked beyond the fountain,
I saw a red balloon,
'twas floating up into the sky,
and toward the wild blue.
I watched the balloon soar higher,
into the southern sky,
the beauty and the majesty,
as it further did fly.
I thought it was a fountain...
It was to my surprise,
The sound of God's own angels,
Applauding to His sky.
I thought it was a red balloon...
It was to my surprise,
The rising of God's newest saint,
Ascending to on high.
