SHROX LUGE
Stealth design
The only luge I've seen with 'split' legs
An example of lightweight design
This luge caught my eye back in late 2004 from Chile. Tubular pan design, and the price is cheap!! I believe they still make them
Skeleton... (head first)
Design above is from the U.S. (similar to the Chile design above it)
Andy Lally Luge..discontinued
Claytons luge modeled after Shrox
This is where it all began... Alpine Slide in Lake Placid, NY 1979 at age 9 I flew off this thing right where the kid in blue is, and my sled continued down the chute without me. I ended up lying in the grass next to the track and was picked up by the next rider. I didnt use the brake and made it over half way down before I was thrown off (not bad for a 9 year old)
Above is drilled out 6061 aircraft aluminum for weight reduction
My old 1988 Trans Am, driven  everyday for 8 years, with no speeding tickets!
Cardboard templatesI made, the back will be aluminum, I am not going with the front design (will create too much downforce)
