DJ Markus Rice, Bio and Mixes
| I started Mixing when I was 14 using 2 stereos stacked on top of each other and used the Volume controls as my mixer. Back then Disco was the New beat in 1976 and DJ equipment was not available to the public yet. But as time went on and the music scene evolved I evolved with it, Learning how to blend rhythms and beats in a smooth easy to listen mixes. I played many small venues trough out the NYC and NJ club scene. I opted out of making playing music my job for the reasons that I loved it and did not want it to be a job just a hobby I loved. many Friends of mine have gone on to the promised land of spinning records and I would like to shout them out. Kenny Carpenter, David Morales, The late Walter Gibbons and many others if I started naming names I will be here forever. |

I would like to thank Tony Cano@ gottahavehouse.com for posting my mix.
