time I heard Iris on the radio. Johnny's voice just blew me away. Since then I have bought every Goo
album and soundtrack that I can find. I am totally hooked on Goo. My favorite album is DUTG
because it has a good blend of fast and slow songs.And my favorite song is Slide. My favorite Goo is
Johnny because he is a wonderful singer and songwriter. He has a great voice. And he looks really

I've liked Goo ever since the first time I heard name. I had to have the disk, so my friend bought it for
me for my birthday. I'd have to say that John is my fav member since he has such talent and such a
wonderful voice (not to mention he's gorgeous) My fav song is Name. It has been ever since I first

hey roxanne,here go the questions you wanted answered, i stated liking the goos when a boy named
goo came out.as soon as i heard name and longway down i instantly fell in love with the band. my fave
goo is johnny because i admire him for playing the guitar the way he does and the songs that he
writes.he inspired me so much with his music that i'm taking guitar lessons now. my fave song is iris
because i can't get enough of it.i've listened to it over and over again and i'm still not sick of it.it's a
great song.my fave album is a boy named goo. i love the guitar solos and the hard rock beat most of
the song have.my first goo concert was awesome.i saw them november 20,1998 at newport music hall
in columbus,ohio.my friend and i had been waiting for months for this day to come.i always dreamed
about seeing the goos.after the concert my friend and i went over to the goos bus and waited for them
to come out.it was colder than hell outside and igot a bad cold but it was definitly worth it.mike was
the first to come out.i got his autoghraph and shook his hand.then rob and nate came out.then the
moment i'd been waiting for came.john came over to me and my friend.iwas so excited i said
everything i'd been dreaming about saying to him 30 seconds.he auotographed my concert ticket and

Okay, I'm gonna try and answer some of those guestions that you asked in the mailing. Well, you
already know my name (Tricia) and where I'm from(Flordia). I don't have a Favorite band member-I
love them all. I don't like to pick a favorite album or song because i love them all. But if I had to I
would have to say album would be "Hold Me Up" and song would have to be "Two Days In
February". I've seen them twice in concert. On Halloween (10/31/98) at Pleasure Island in Orlando
FL and on 12/21/98 in Pompano Beach FL. YES!! I definately plan to go and see them again. Well, I

Well, first my name is Michael Brown and I am from Connersville, Indiana. I first started to like the
goo since "we are the normal" came out. I was really down and depressed and that song really helped
my self-esteem out. I don't know why, but i felt that "we are the normal, we live and we die with no
reason why" was a line that meant we all are on the same boat of life, so don't worry about it. Then
"Long Way Down" came out from the movie TWISTER and i was hooked. I bought all of their older
albums and was blown away by Robby's vocals! Then little johnny came up to the mike and did a
transition for the band. I love the song "James Dean" from JED. My favorite is probably Robby
because he can get a song going with the guitar and if you ever see him in the videos or live, he is
CraZy! I like that about him! Johnny is the best vocalist ever though! I try to sing like him but ha ha
ha... Mike is also one of the courageous drummers ever known. he took george's place and had some
tough shoes to fill in, but came up banging and thrashing the drums! long live mike! My favorite video
is "Lazy Eye". It was really raw and kicking, that is what goo is about to me, and that is why i love it. I
saw Goo live in Nov. of 1998 in Columbus, ohio. I drove 400 miles just to see them. i stood outside in
the cold for 2 hours just to get to the front of the loooooooooooooooooongggggggggg line and it paid
off! Front row baby! The band busted out with "Dizzy" and john's tattos were freshly shining. I want
the one with the question mark guy. I need a full photo so i can take it to a tatoo place to get it done. it
is a little token for me. :) (if you have one, send it please). They played for 2 hours and did all of their
singles. the crowd moshed and robby was making fun of them on stage :) . I have to say, they deserve
a Grammy this year. "Iris" has stayed on the charts since March of 98' and it is still on there! "Slide" is
finally on VH-1's countdown(Go Vote at thier website). They are the best, and no one can replace

The answers for me are... Name: Niki Burnham Age: 27 (28 in 26 days) I live in Atlanta, GA. I work
at a university in the hr dept, but I really want to be an audio engineer. That's what I got my degree in,
but I haven't had a lot of luck finding a job that pays doing this yet. I don't have a favorite goo. My
favorite songs are Acoustic #3 and Naked, but they tend to vary with my mood. I don't have a
favorite album, it varies with my mood too. I started liking the goos around the Superstar Carwash
time. I grew up in Norfolk, VA where new music never happens, so this was the first time I had heard
of them. I have met the guys twice. Once in DC (11/5/98), met them all, got autographs and photos.
Once in Pompano Beach (12/21/98) Mike wasn't there (left early with his parents), got autographs

CD. I got DUTG for Christmas and shortly after I bought Boy Named Goo. My favourite Goo is
Johnny. But, I love Robby and Mike as well. I'm working on buying all the albums and I collect all the
articles about them. I also tape any of their TV appearances. My fav album so far is DUTG. My
favourite song right now is Lazy Eye but it's hard for me to choose. (Johnny's voice is so sexy in Lazy
Eye) My favourite video is Iris. I can't get over how sexy Johnny is in it. I've never seen them live but
I'm hoping they come to Toronto some time soon!! I haven't met them either but I know I will some

Hi!Great website, Roxanne! I'm Ginger, 14 years old, live in a suburb of Chicago (Lombard), and even
though I sound like a teenybopper, I'm not! I'm ashamed to admit it, but I started liking the Goos
probably four years ago when "Name" came out. But I started obsessing over them when I bought
DUTG. They aren't a one -dimensional band, and their lyrics are so touching. They're all I listen to,
and you get a lot out of trying to figure out their lyrics. Everyone knows me as the girl who is obsessed
with the one and only Goos. There is no way I can pick my favorite Goo, even though Johnny is the
most beautiful creature on earth and looks hot in leather pants, and Robby is sooo adorable, and Mike
seems extremely cool. Really, every song is great, but I like Up Yours, James Dean, 2 Days in Feb,
On Your Side, Know My Name, Lazy Eye,Hey, You Know What I mean, Girl Right Next to me,
Lucky Star, Domino, We Are the Normal, String of Lies, So Far Away, Cuz Youre Gone, Fallin'
Down, Name, Naked, Long Way Down, Slave Girl, Aint That Unusual, Impersonality, and there's just
too many on DUTG to choose from......... Lyrically and emotionally, my fave album is DUTG, but
overall, they all rule! Unfortunately, everything went wrong when I tried to get to a concert, so I never
saw them live or have met the Goos, but I plan to when they come to Peoria, IL. I can't say my fave
video cuz I've only seen 3 of them! The Goo Goo Dolls are so talented and inspiratonal, I'm going to
start taking acoustic guitar lessons. The first song I learn to play will hopefully be "Name!"

I am a GIGANIC Goo fan!I look at myself as their BIGGEST fan(I'm sure
you do too)!Well,my obsession for Goo Goo dolls was not always an obsession!I liked
their song "name" and I thought they were cute at first but I wasn't obsessed with
them then!Then they came out with "iris"and I saw the vidio and I was like "Dang...they
are REALLY cute" but that wasn't obsession until they wrote "slide" and I was like
"Dang...they are REALLY,REALLY,REALLY cute and then I heard they was coming to
Augusta and I was like the first in line to get tickets!I literly almost had a
heartattack at the concert!I was at the front on my brothers sholder and I was
yelling stuff like"Will you marry me?"I got no response,duh!Well,I have called MTV's
fanatic and everything!I hope they choose me to meet them!Well,I really don't have a
fav. goo,but if I had to choose one I would choose Johnny because he is the one that
writes all them inspirational songs.(not that Robby don't write great songs too)!I have
seen Goo live at Fort Gordan in Augusta Georgia.They were GREAT!No,I have never
had the oppertunity to meet Goo but I pray every night that I will!My fav. Goo album is
"Dizzy Up the girl" and my fav. song is "Name" because it is the song that got them
