Needed: A dry erase board and pen Without telling the Bride, go to the Groom and make him swear he will not reveal the following conversation. You are to ask of him 10-20 questions of your choosing. Decide what kind of crowd will be at the party and try to censure yourself accordingly. Prior to the party write out each of ten questions in ball point pen on it's own card. On the reverse, write the answer using a Sharpie. On the eleventh card, simply write on one side with the Sharpie "The New Newlywed Game". This will cover the answer of the last question until you reach the end of the game. At the party, explain to the guests that you have asked the Groom ten questions about the Bride and their relationship. They are to write on a clean side of their game paper a number between one and ten signifying how many questions they believe the Bride and Groom will answer the same. The Bride must give the same answer as the Groom for it to count. Once everyone has "placed their bets", give the Bride the dry erase board and pen. One at a time ask her the questions. Ask a question and repeat it. When she has her answer completely written, show the answer side of the question card to everyone in the room and have her hold up her answer to see if it matches. The guest who guessed closest to the actual number the Bride matched with the Groom, wins. Some sample questions: Is there something you think your Bride to be has plenty of that she just won't stop buying? Where was your first official date? If the Bride could change one thing about her body, what would it be? What one item of clothing does the Bride wear that you just can't stand? What's the Bride's favorite fast food? What color is the front door of the home you two will share? What is the Bride's favorite flower? And you get the idea from there. Depending on the party, you can spice them up a little or tone them down. I also suggest highly the color of the door question. I've seen many a fight after because of that one!
