How to Make

A Wedding
Veil Tiara

finished wedding tiara

Materials:

One package of necklace memory wire
1 pkg 8 mm crystal cut beads
Aleen's Tacky Glue
Jewelry Wire
Wire Cutters

beads and glue Measure the memory wire on the head of the person wearing it. Rest the front exactly where you think it should be after styling hair. String the first bead onto the wire and use the tacky glue to secure it. You want it to be closer than half way to the back. Once dry, string beads from the other end until the beads are even and glue the final bead in place.
glue to form clasp Take a bead and place the left opening of wire half way through the opening. Fill the hole with glue. Leave the other side of the wire out. This forms a clasp so you may wrap the tiara around the hairstyle if necessary. To secure, just place the right wire in the bead to meet the left wire.
use wire to wrap layers one and two together Create a second row of beads on another piece of memory wire. Use four beads less, but eyeball it to be sure. You want to attach the top layer to the bottom layer so the top rests above it but back a little. Using jewelry wire, wrap the top to the bottom between the first two beads on each side. Glue the wire for safety's sake.

To wear the tiara, do the hair first. Fasten the clasp under the hair in back. When you attach the veil, push the combs down over the tiara's wire to disguise it.
