How to Make Sachets

Materials:

Organza fabric remnants
Thread to match fabric
Potpourri

Start by cutting 2 5x5" squares. If you are making more, cut all the squares first. Do all at once with each step.

Pin 2 squares with wrong sides out. Hem around 3 sides and if you want, start the fourth as shown left..

Next, clip the corners and trim close to the hem. Turn the bag right side out.

Fill with potpourri through the opening and hand stitch shut. Decorate with ribbons or leave as is. Drop in a drawer or give as a gift.
