How to Make

Vanilla Almond Soap

vanilla almond soap finished

Materials

6 Bars Ivory or other non-scented soap
1 pound Almonds
Vanilla Oil
Vitamin E Oil
2 cups distilled water
2 muffin tins
Cellophane
Ribbon

makes about 16 muffin sized soaps

First grate all of the bars of soap into a large bowl. Next, if your almonds need shelling, do so. In a food processor, grind the almonds to almost a powder. Boil the water and let it continue to do so for a few minutes. Pull the water from the heat and start another pot of water boiling. Mix together the already boiling with the shredded soap, almonds, and oils. The vanilla you do to smell, I use a whole vile. The vitamin E oil, pour in as much as you like. Place this pot in the other to create a double boiler. Stir until the mixture has melted. Pour into molds. You can use any shape, I like muffin tins.

Let these cool and harden overnight. Pop them out of the tins and wrap with cellophane. Voila!!
