How to Make
Simple Hair Combs
|
 |
Materials:
2 clear plastic hair combs
1 pkg 8 mm crystal cut beads
Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue
Some projects, I prefer to use the Quick Dry Tacky Glue. Anything where
I will end up holding things together while waiting for the glue to dry
is basically how I decide.
 |
First, glue a bead to the edge of the comb. Hold that
until the bead doesn't move when you remove your hand. Put the comb
aside while the glue finishes drying and repeat on the other comb.
|
 |
When both are dry, balance the opposite end of the comb
so that the comb angles. Add a drop of glue and place a bead and keep
doing this until you reach the top. If at any point, the beads start
to slip in the wet glue, stop at that bead, hold it in place while
it starts to set, and then wait until all beads are dry before starting
again. |
Set them aside to dry, when the glue is clear, they're wearable.
