How to Make

Crystal Cut Bead Bracelets

finished bracelets

Materials:

1 pkg 4 mm crystal cut beads
1 pkg rocaille crystal beads (8 grams)
1 pkg bracelet memory wire
Aileen's Tacky Glue
Needle nose pliers

Using the needle nose pliers, or wire cutters, cut the memory wire in the center to create two bracelets. Put glue on one end of the wire (a thin layer) and thread 8 rocaille beads. From now on, I'll call those the small beads and the others large. Set this aside and let the glue dry. When the beads don't move, you are ready to string the rest on the bracelet.

Thread one large bead, then fifty small ones. Thread one large and then 25 more small. Follow that with two large, five small and two large. Place twenty small ones between that and the next set of 2-five-2. Add fifteen more small ones and then pour glue into the eye of a large bead. Thread this bead carefully and set aside the bracelet to dry. Once this is secure, fill up the remainder of the wire with the small beads. When you near the end of the wire, coat with a thin layer of glue and add the remaining beads.

Repeat this process on the other bracelet wire. Alternatively, you can not cut the wire in half and thread the beads twice the length to make on long winding bracelet. It just depends on if you want quantity or a cool long bracelet.
