Primary Hand

Coarse, heavy, fatty, unsymmetrical and ugly, the owners of such hands are known for their materialistic instincts and definitely not for cultural sophistication.

The basic needs of mankind namely food, clothes and house represent their mindset. They little cherish anything else beyond that. They are often seen to remain fully devoid of the values of life and its ideals.

Square Hand

The square hand has a square palm and square wrist. The fingertips are also quite squarish. While the fingers are largely knotty, this hand is characterised by a large thumb and a square finger base. There are several knots which are quite prominent.

Such hands are thinner and less coarse especially in comparision to the Primary Hand.

Such persons are intelligent and discerning. They contibute well to the society. Persons with such hands have been seen to be grade-one philosophers, artists, painters, men of letters, psychologists etc. Such persons are more keen to build fame and recognition for them than wealth.

Workman's Hand

This kind of hand is a little more lengthy in proportion to its width. The hand begins on a bit fatty note and the front part tapers down lighter in its comparision. The mounts found on the palm are muscular and hard .

Persons with such hands are known for their activity levels which are seen to be quite high throughout the span of their life. Even though they are not blessed with great comforts in the initial period of their life , they gradually achieve evertything including name , fame and wealth by dint of their hard work. They also symbolize harmony between their thoughts and their actions.

Such a hand is long and angular having bony fingers and knotty joints. The palm is large and bony, and the nail phalanges have a mix of conical and square shape.

Persons with such hands are learned and intellectuals. They have often proved to be natural leaders, great philosophers, thinkers and intellectuals.

Persons blessed with such hands are always ready to follow intellectual pursuits. They constantly keep updating their knowledge and intelligence and are generally the stuff good samaritans are made of.Such persons dispaly complete faith in ideals and beliefs. Natives of such hand are however seen to be somewhat deficient of wealth in their lives, even though they are people of high eminence.

Soft, supple and tender, the hand shows a pink tinge and is very appealing to look at. Such hands can be easily recognised with the help of fingers which are thin, long, and well formed. The joints of all bones are of equal proportion.

The people blessed with this kind of hands are either artists by nature or if not then , they are seen to be great lovers of art , loving art more than anything else in their life. They are also well capable of giving enormous love to people around them.

The negative point about such hands is that such natives may not get very successful on the financial front. They may be lazy bones also , dreaming all the time about the esoteric aspects of life. However it is also seen that if such hands are slightly more stiff than normal , the persons bearing them are quite efficient in amassing  wealth , primarily through artistic pursuits.

Often termed as the best possible hand , this hand is commonly seen to be neither much long nor much wide , well-formed, soft,and more supple than even the artistic hand .

The good point about this kind of hand is that such people are optimists of the highest order. They neither lose hope nor the direction when faced with the greatest of the diffculties and even calamities.

From worldly point of view however , these are not very successful hands as such persons are known to lean very heavily on ideals.Sometimes they are also seen to exhibit a tendency to live beyond their means,ruining themselves in the process.

The hand which cannot be included in any of the above six categories, can be included in this kind. In this kind of hand, good points of more than one kind of hand are discovered ; hence it can be called 'Mixed Hand'.

For example the shape of the mixed hand of a an artist and of a workman will come under this category. This mixture of characteristics of hands will reflect in their character and behaviour as well.

Such natives can accomplish success after putting in lots of hard work. They should be careful to pursue any task to its meaningful completion and not let themselves get trapped in starting one new thing after another before even finishing with the previous ones.
