Vifa Floorstanding 2-Way Project

Here is a rendered image of the speakers I am currently building.
The drivers I will be using are the Vifa P17WJ-00-08 6.5" poly cone woofer
and the Vifa D25AG-35-06 1" aluminum dome tweeter.
The enclosure walls are 1.5" thick MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard).
For damping, I will be using 1.5" eggcrate acoustic foam on the internal divider and back wall.
To avoid long standing waves, there will be a divider piece of 1.5" thick MDF
near the bottom of the enclosure angled at about 30 degrees.
Outer dimensions of the enclosure are 48" H x 8.5" W x 11" D.
The internal air volume is about 1 cu. ft.
There will be a port in the rear of the enclosure with an internal diameter of 2.5"
and a length of 6.5" to tune the enclosure to 40Hz.
For a crossover, I will be using a series crossover design crossed around 4000Hz.
This will allow the 6.5" driver to use it's full bandwidth.

Here is a diagram of the crossover I will be using.

I will post more detailed drawings and a how-to later when I get my design more finalized.

Here are all the electronic parts I will be using.

Here are the doubled up (two layers of .75" MDF) pieces of MDF for one enclosure.
As you can see in the image, I used LOTS of screws to hold the layers of
MDF together for the glue since I didn't have enough clamps.

One speaker constructed. Just needs some touch-up work.

Test fit of the woofer and tweeter. Looks GREAT!

Finished major construction. Patched holes and imperfections.

Primed and ready for paint.

The speakers are all done! They sound very well so far, though
I haven't had a chance yet to really test them out. Highs are crystal
clear, mids are very smooth, and the bass is clear and present until
around 40-45Hz where it drops off. Although not perfect, the semi-gloss
paint looks pretty good as well.
