Welcome and introductions.

Minutes from last meeting:
Addendum to #8 – it is free to all in groups of 60; item 9 -
there are red rubber wristbands donated this year for Red Ribbon
Week.

Fundraiser update: Yellow K
done, Heather was our Bulldog, laps were 20-30, the children
were running; Buster Bronco will be there first 2 hours of
running day, plan for the week money comes in – to have
volunteers each day for counting funds; just donations already
add up to $9,000; need a “post fundraiser” sheet to show how
much we made last year versus this year and what the money will
go toward.

Carnival: many more
volunteers needed; proofread carnival send home sheet

Halloween party: need
volunteers for October 31. Heather, Donna, Stacey and Amy
volunteer.

Other questions: Box Tops –
make sure they are not expired, about 300 thrown out because
they were expired, collection every other Friday, 978 brought in
so far; Winter Family Fun night is scheduled for January
(possibly 17th), band will be there for 1 ˝ hours;
Mr. Allard suggests having special PTO meeting nights such as
“bring a friend” or “bring a male” or a restaurant meeting,
perhaps have an afternoon session or change the evening around
once or twice to get new faces into meetings; PTO card to give
out at the end of meetings with a “thanks for coming, give us
your feedback” message.

Heather will entertain the
idea of taking over Treasurer position next year.
