Welcome and
introductions.
-
Monthly recap – The main
fun run went well. A first grader fell and broke his wrist,
but the parents were okay. Heather was the bulldog and
Buster Bronco and King Louis were present. Carnival was
short of volunteers, but everyone had fun. The Fun Run
award assembly was fun and the kids were all good. $945 in
Box Tops collected so far.

Treasurer’s Report - The
fundraiser made $17,842. The number after expenses is
$15,605. Julie needs a list of the donated items and their
dollar amounts from fundraiser. Carnival was $129 short of
covering expenses.

Spending Committee – The
meeting is not until April; by then most of the year is
gone; possibly move committee to November; treasurer is
concerned that we leave a cushion of funds if spending
committee is so early because sometimes money from this
“extra” category is used to cover other expenses during the
year; possibly have spending committee twice a year and that
would allow a cushion.

Fun Run Luncheon – Lunch
with Tim set for the 12th , 14th and
20th, helpers needed to set up the special table on those
days.

Christmas Treat Ideas –
Dec 20 is party for Yellow K, all others Dec.21;
gingerbread shaped sugar cookies to decorate with hot
chocolate and candy canes on the side; Marie Anne Goodrich
and Christy Friel will help. Santa to read stories to
children? Is there enough time?

Holiday Gifts for Staff –
Mason jars filled with ingredients for cookies or brownies;
Christy will bring book with ingredient list and recipe to
next meeting; Crystal will investigate Mason jars in
basement.

January Fun Night – Will
be Thursday Jan 17th, Darcy will teach line
dancing at the January PTO meeting.

December Meeting – Stamp
it Up will return, there will be prize drawing and snacks;
Amy M. drinks; Crystal, Christy and Donna snacks.

Fun Run Suggestions –
Tabled.

Extra Idea – Maybe a book
exchange for Christmas would be a good idea to implement
school wide.
