DEFINITION-The word "Stock" means unaltered and as originally produced and installed for make and model. O.E.M. Components only unless otherwise noted.

BATTERY – One only, and must be located outside of driver compartment Must be securely anchored and cross-strapped. Battery disconnect switch behind driver seat, mandatory.

BODIES

1. Must be stock & complete, including bumpers and all sheet metal. Must remain stock in appearance. Aluminum door panels ok.
2. Destroyed panels must be replaced with stock parts. Fenders may be cut for tire clearance, not to exceed 3". Sharp panel edges must be rolled under.
3. Inner door panels may be removed only to reinforce door area.
4. Grill may be replaced with wire screen.
5. All Upholstery MUST be removed including seat, headliner and dashboard.
6. All doors must be welded closed.
7. Inner body panels may not be removed except as noted.
8. No sharp edges. Sharp panel edges must be rolled under.
9. Front wheel wells may be removed
10. All lights and moldings must be removed.
11. Trucks- Bed must be completely intact and enclosed. Deteriorated beds must be replaced with similar material. Min. 3’ x 3’ quick release (no bolts) access panel mandatory for safety.
12. Trucks- Spoiler height 5 inches max. Width not to exceed body width. Clear Lexan Only. Triangular verticals only, not to exceed spoiler height. Cars- spoiler not allowed.
13. Firewall must remain stock and in stock position.

BRAKES – Factory stock, four wheel hydraulic- all in good working order.

BUMPERS - Stock bumpers. May be welded to frame horns, but not to frame. No reinforcement of any kind. Shall not extend beyond grill.

CARBURETOR, INTAKE AND HEADS.

1. Carb must remain stock for make. Stock throttle body O.K.
2. Trucks only may use stock 350 C.F.M.Holley 2 Brl. (#7448 only) in place of OEM carb. Max. 1-inch carb adapter.
3. No porting, polishing or altering from stock condition. Choke horn may not be removed.

CONSTRUCTION - All vehicles will be built in a safe, workman-like manner. Subject to track approval.

COMPETING MODELS – Domestic & Imported compact cars and trucks. No 4-wheel drive. or mid-size vehicles. Frame, Body, Transmission and Engine must match– make to make.

DRIVE SHAFT

1. A metal strap is to be located in the forward 1/3 of the driveshaft to prevent if from dropping to the track.
2. Driveshaft must be painted white.
3. Stock driveshaft only.

ENGINE

1. 2.5 Liter Max (.030 overbore allowed). NO TOLERANCE
2. No turbos. No fuel injection. No marine engines or components.
3. Electric fuel pumps must shutoff automatically when engine stalls.
4. Engine must be in stock position.
5. Engines subject to inspection i.e. compression, cubic inch, carb etc. at any time.

EXHAUST

1. Mufflers mandatory. 98 DECIBELS MAX. THIS WILL BE ENFORCED.
2. Exhaust must exit behind driver and remain within and underneath body panels and be directed downward towards track. No part of the exhaust system may pass through driver’s compartment.
3. Exhaust pipe- 2" OD max.

FRAMES- Stock frame. No altering. Additional reinforcement bars allowed.

FUEL CELL

1. FUEL CELL MANDATORY. Must be securely mounted to frame. Fuel lines will not pass through driver compartment.
2. Fuel cell must be centered & mounted between cab & rear end or in trunk area. No filler tubes.

GLASS - All glass must be removed except windshield which may be replaced with Lexan only. No plexiglass

IGNITION - Stock Ignition only.

MIRRORS - No mirrors allowed.

NUMBERS

1. Must appear on both doors - 18" high with a min. 2" stroke.
2. Driver’s name will appear over both doors.
3. Number must appear on upper right hand corner of windshield. 6" stroke min.

RADIATOR

1. Must be in stock position.
2. Must have ½ gal. catch can for overflow (or) overflow tube at CENTER of windshield.
3. Radiator protection O.K. Must be behind grill. Duct work recommended.
4. Water is the only coolant allowed.

REAR ENDS

1. Must be stock for make & model.
2. Posi-traction locked or welded optional.
3. No 4-wheel drive.

ROLL CAGE

1. 4-Point roll cage mandatory - tubing: minimum 1-3/4" O.D. with a min .095 wall.
2. Minimum of 3 driver side door bars. 1/8" steel doorplate 24" x 24" min. on driver’s side and 12" x 18" kick plate to protect driver’s legs. Foot-box bar mandatory.
3. Roll bars must be padded around drivers head area.
4. Front and rear hoops allowed.

SUSPENSION - FRONT AND REAR

1. Must remain in stock location.
2. Dropped spindles ok in order to lower roll center.

TIRES –Hoosier Sportsman

TOW CHAIN – FRONT AND REAR. Chain only. Must be secured to bumper or frame. Chain loop must be large enough to accommodate wrecker hook.

TRANSMISSIONS

1. Must be stock for make and model. No Powerglide trans. No altering.
2. Stock Flywheel and clutch components only. No after-market components.
3. Mandatory- 2" hole in bottom of bell housing to inspect clutch/converter.
4. Must vent into overflow can.
5. Transmission coolers allowed in engine compartment only.

CLAIM RULE

1. To be eligible to claim, driver must be registered and have competed in the previous 2 feature events of current season. The entire amount of $1000.00 cash (U.S. funds) shall be paid to the divison inspector within 5 minutes of completion of that race. There will be a $200.00 backout fee if the vehicle owner decides not to buy the vehicle. Claim includes the complete vehicle less seat, harness, fuel cell and fire suppression system. Claim will be completed within 1 hour. If claimee refuses to sell, he/she will lose points for the year & winnings for the night, and will be suspended for the remainder of the season. Only driver may claim, sell or refuse to sell.
2. Any registered driver whose vehicle is running 4th through 10th is eligible to claim 1st through 3rd. Claimer must be on lead lap and running. Claimer must compete with claimed vehicle in next participated event or will lose points for the season, be suspended for 4 calendar events and fined $250.
3. SWAP OPTION-After inspecting claimers vehicle, claimee has option of choosing the claimer’s vehicle in lieu of claim fee. In that event, both drivers will remove excluded items within 1 hour, supervised by track inspector. Once swap option is invoked, claimer is subject to same rules as claimee.
4. Claimer must examine vehicle before equipment removal - once started, sale is final. All claims will be completed at racetrack.
5. Any sabotage to claimed vehicle will result in saboteur driver being suspended from for 4 calendar events, loss of points for the season and fined $250.
6. Any driver found to be making a claim or protest for anyone other than himself will lose points for the season, be suspended for 4 calendar events and fined $250.00.
7. Anyone owning more than one vehicle cannot claim his own vehicle if one of his vehicles finishes in the top 3.
8. No one driver may claim more than once during a season.
9. Track reserves the right to claim ANY vehicle. Swap option does not apply. Track claim supercedes any other claim.

WEIGHT RULE

1. 2600# min. (Overhead cam engines-2800# min.) with driver after race.
2. 55% max left side and 50% min. front weight with driver after race.
3. All weights painted white with vehicle number painted in contrasting color. Weights will be anchored with (2) ½"dia bolts minimum. Any weight found not painted white, with number, will be disqualified.
4. In the interest of competition, track reserves right to adjust weight as needed.

WHEELS - Steel wheels not to exceed 15" x 8".
