| *CHAPTER 1* "Isaac, I really don't like what this is turning out to be," 17 year old Katrina told her 19 year old brother Isaac. "Why not, it's really good Trina...your writing is awesome!" Isaac smiled as he read over her paper. Just then Katrina and Isaac's brother Taylor walked in with Beth, his girlfriend and Katrina's best friend. "Hey guys...wassup?" Beth said as she sat down on the bunk. "I'm writing my stupid paper on To Kill a Mockingbird!" Kat whined. "I'd help you but I'd rather not write a report when I just finished mine!" Taylor said sitting on his bed. "I'll help you!" Beth smiled grabbing the book so she could mention key points to Kat. "Thanks Beth! Tay is something wrong?" Kat asked looking at her brother. "No...c'mon baby...we need to start packing..." Taylor said pulling Beth off the bed. "PACKING?!?!" Isaac and Kat said in unison. "Yeah...we leave for Lake Tahoe in three days!" Beth squealed. "OMG ARE U FOR REAL?!?!?" Isaac said imitating her. "Yes..."Beth grinned walking out with Tay. "Kat I'll help you later hun!" "Sure...." Kat said looking down. Beth and Taylor went to her hosue so she could start packing, and see what she would need to buy. "You have to pack this sweater," Taylor said holding up a maroon sweater of Beth's. Beth looked up at him and smiled. "Throw it in the suitcase," she smiled as she looked throught her clsoet for her ski stuff. "Oh! What about this Abercrombie sweatshirt?" she asked bringing it from the closet over to the suitcase. |
