It�s Michelle again. We had just been in a close call at the Gardens. Really close. But now that that was over, we were heading to do our mission. We had all gotten battle morphs and were trying to plan our attack. <Okay, so we�ve all got morphs now. So now what? > Jake asked. Katie spoke up. <Well, how about we take a clear look around and try to see if we can find anything slightly unusual, > She suggested. <What do you think Michelle? What about all you guys? > <I think it�s fine. > I said. Everybody agreed. <How about you, Carlin? You didn�t say anything. > I said. I hadn�t heard much from Carlin since we left the Gardens. I got no reply. <Carlin? > Probably because she wasn�t there. <Guys, where�s Carlin? > Marco asked. We started circling, looking for a osprey somewhere out of place. We saw none. Suddenly we were engulfed in a huge flash of light, again. Everything had stopped. We were in nothing land. Literally. And we were all in our very original form. Meaning Ax was Andalite and Tobias was human. �YOUR FRIEND CARLIN IS JUST FINE.� A huge voice boomed. We all knew who it was. �Well, let me guess,� I said. �Are you the Backstreet Boys?� I added sarcastically. �YOU DON�T HAVE TIME FOR SARCASISM. I CAME TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I SENT HER BACKTO YOUR TIME. SHE WON�T REMEMBER YOU, BUT SHE IS FINE NONETHELESS.� The Ellimist said. �What do you mean, �she doesn�t remember us?� She would remember Michelle and me, right?� Katie asked. �I�M AFRAID NOT. YOU NO LONGER EXIST IN THAT TIME. I TRIED TO FIX IT SO THAT YOU NEVER DID,� The Ellimist continued. I was wide-eyed and my mouth was hanging open. I was also mad. �Why would you just delete us from our time?� I asked. �I CAN TELL YOU WHY. BECAUSE IF I DIDN�T, YOUR PARENTS WOULD WANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU WERE, THEY WOULD SEND SEARCH PARTIES, AND IT WOULD MAKE YOUR PARENTS EXTREMELY WORRIED,� The Ellimist explained. We all nodded our heads in thought. He had a good point. We were swallowed up in another bright light and returned to flying in the air, back in our bird morphs. <Okay, so, now that we know we only have two new Animorphs, lets go. Where was it that you thought they had the trap, Ax? > Jake said. <I believe they would put one somewhere in the area directly below us, since it is where I usually feed, > Ax replied. We started flying around, trying to look like normal birds. <How long has it been? I was just wondering how long we have left. And please give me some minutes because I�m absolutely terrible with percents, > I said. <We have used up � of our time, so we have approximately 15 of your minutes left, > Ax answered. <Ah. Maybe we should go ahead and demorph. I think the cabin is right near here, > I �said.� We flew down to the cabin, demoprhed, and everybody that had a home had to go home. Ax went to his stoop. Tobias stayed to talk. We sat in silence while uneasiness crept around the tiny cottage. It was Katie who broke the silence. �I really hate to break the lovely silence, but, you know, it just dawned on me how weird this is,� She said.
