| The Halloween Terror Part One: Halloween Night Kayley and Kate were planning how many houses to 'Trick'o'Treat' while dancing to "Mmmbop". "Okay so your going to be Tay's girlfriend mixed with a prom queen, right?" Kate paused breathing then said, "And I'm going to be an Albertanean mixed with Zac, right?" Kayley nodded but before she had enough time to talk, Their mom and two older twin brothers came in. "K&K," their mom said referring to Kate and Kayley,"I'm sorry but due to previous arrangements, y'all are stuck with candy duty. No arguing its final." "I suggest you get your candy and go catch the early Trick'o'Treaters." Brad, one of the 17,near 18, year old twins said. "Okay." They said, reluctantly turning off the radio and grabbing the candy. Kayley, who was 15, knew better than to complain, but Kate complained between every Trick-or-Treater. * 8:00 P.M. After the steady stream of trick-or-treaters had died down, they put the remaining candy in a basket on the front stoop, got on their costumes and went trick-or-treating. Kate, always one for candy of any kind, said at every house, " This is our community service. We'll take the candy off your hands so you won't gain any unwanted pounds." Most of the neighbors knew Kate and Kayley and gave them extras, others just grinned and closed the door. Finally they came to the last street in their neighborhood. It was a deserted construction area and very spooky. Both girls felt a chill go down their back. "I - I'm...bored..." Kate said, " Let's hurry up, ok?" They started singing" Weird "to keep their minds off the spookiness and as they reached the lone house on this street, Kate faltered and went a note lower then she was supposed to. This house was seriously decorated. From the top window, the attic,most likely, their hung a head. In the bushes there were fingers and eyes and glowing chains. Kayley, who had yet to take in the decorations, started complaining. "No! You were supposed to sing this note!" She demonstrated, her voice ringing in the stillness of the air. Kate walked quickly up to the door, and knocked turning around to survey the decorations. Man, when these guys decorated, they DECORATED!! Kayley was the first to see it. She let out a scared yelp. Kate, who didn't get scared easily, turned around very slowly and gaped at the tall werewolf that had answered the door. The fear turned to anger as two guys dressed up as Isaac and Zac Hanson dead appeared behind him...... |
