	My name is Michelle. Just Michelle. Not Michelle Smith or Michelle Baker or Michelle Waverly. I can�t tell you my last name or where Iive. You�ll find out why later. Anyway, I was spending the night at one of my best friend�s house. Katie (my friend) had invited Carlin (our other best friend) and me over for a spend-the-night. Plus, her parents would be out until two months for now, so we had the house all to ourselves. �Hey Carlin! Pass the popcorn!� Katie shouted across the room. �Otay!� Carlin said. She picked up the popcorn, handed it to me, and went back to reading her ANIMORPHS book. I took it and handed it to Katie, then went back to my fanfic writing. All of us were reading my absolutely gorgeous story I had just finished writing when the bookshelf full of Katie�s books, including her ANIMORPHS books, started shaking. Then it started falling. �Guys! I�m stuck!� Carlin shouted desperately. We both ran over to her rescue. �Jeez Carlin! Get out of the sleeping bag!� I shouted at her. She got out but not fast enough. The pile of books and the bookshelf fell and landed on all of us. I slowly drifted away and eventually became unconscious. �Um... guys? Can you please get me out of here!?� I woke up to Carlin�s voice. Somehow I had managed to land on top of the bookshelf. I looked around but I wasn�t able to see very far because I had hit my head pretty hard and it felt like I had just woke up from sleeping about a month. I eventually was able to focus on a hand waving around furiously. I ran over to it and shoved (it took a while, but I did it) the bookshelf off of the body. It was Carlin. �Thanks. Where�s Katie?� she asked. I looked around and saw no sign of Katie. By then I could actually focus. �Katie?� I called. I listened hard and finally heard a slight moan. I followed the moan and saw Katie coming out from under a pile of books. �Ugh� awe man, I have got to get rid of these books,� she said, then looked around and asked, �Where, exactly, are we?� "Where are we?" Carlin repeated. We were in a forest of some sort. Suddenly a hawk landed. "Hey, is that a red-tail hawk?" Carlin asked. "Yeah!" Katie said, "Kinda like Tobias!" <Who are you!?> "Huh? WHAT?" I yelled looking around. "Oh my god." I finally said. Then I ran over to a tree. In it was the red tailed hawk and he was looking nervous (If you could even say a hawk �looked�). <AX!> the hawk finally called. I turned white. GLUMPH...GLUMPH <What Tobias?! I was in the middle of Young and Restless!> Ax asked some what annoyed <Who are these people?> He said as his blade stopped a millimeter away from Katie's throat. �Um� Don�t worry Ax, we�re not Controllers cause if we were, we wouldn�t know that the Animorphs are actually not Andalite�s, except for you, Tobias is a hawk, Cassie owns a barn, and Jake is the unofficial leader and you call him� oops,� I hand flew over my mouth. I�d said way too much and all it was doing was getting Ax angrier. Carlin was starting to fret, so she grabbed some of the Animorphs books and pitched them to Ax. He lowered his tail and read some of the pages of one. He then put it down and told us to wait there. Then there was silence for a moment and then Ax ran off. All I could do was stare. This was freaky. First, we had the bookshelf fall on us and we suddenly appeared in the middle of a forest. Next, we run into a talking bird, which happens to be part of a conversation that Carlin had started up, and suddenly an Andalite showed up. Definitely the work of the Ellimist, but I couldn't figure out why. Anyway, we waited for about ten minutes, then Ax showed up with Jake. �Dang, he�s even cuter than on the book covers!� Katie hissed to me. I giggled. �I don�t know, he�s taken, and then again, I�ve got hots for Tobias, but I wouldn�t stand a chance against Rachel,� I replied. I hoped Tobias hadn�t heard me. God, how embarrassing that would�ve been. But he seemed to not notice, and was apparently talking to Jake, because Jake was nodding like he was being spoken to. Finally we were noticed and Jake walked over to us. �Hi� um� I�m Jake, I guess you knew that though. Um�well,� It was obvious that he didn�t know what to say. �Hi, I�m Michelle, this is Katie, and this is Carlin,� I stepped up, shook his hand as I stated my name, and pointed to both Katie and Carlin as I said their name. By then Rachel, Cassie, and Marco had all come and were listening to Tobias or Ax�s speech. �Alright, will you excuse me for a minute� Jake asked and walked toward the others. They talked for a moment, each cutting in at least twice, arguing, taking sides, explaining, and finally coming to a decision. They all turned and Jake said, �Guys, we�ve made a decision.�
