| "Natalie Devant! Get your butt in here! You've got a new assignment!" The editor of the "Stars And Times Magazine" called. "Yes sir!!" Natalie Devant, an up and coming repoter, replied while dashing into her bosses office to receive her new assignment. "N SYNC is doing another tour. I want you to do a close up on them. The magazine's starting to slow down and I think this'll help our sales, so you better make it good." He said tapping his pen against his desk. "Sir? Didn't I just do a close up on the Backstreet Boys last month?" Ms. Devant asked confused. "Well, yes, but now N SYNC is on tour. Do it Natalie, and make it good." With that he pushed his chair back and stood up. "Yes sir. It'll be the best article on a group of stars you've ever read, sir." she said turning to walk out of the door. "Good, Natalie. We need it." He commented walking around the desk "I'm on it now, sir." She said then paused. "When is it due?" "Before the tour actually begins." He replied grabbing the door. "WHAT!?!?!? Sir, that's only a week!" Natalie turned around and stared in disbelief. "Get it done, Natalie." And that was the end of that. He pointed his finger out of the door in a gesture that clearly meant 'go, now!' Natalie picked up her purse and exited the boss' office. She sighed deeply, getting ready for her big story. She knew that it would be hard and that she definitely had a storyon her hands. What she didn't know is that it would become what it did... |
