warm places where life is a blooming, in Lancaster County, on the shores of the Susquehanna, at Tucquan Glen, in Shenk's Ferry, Pennsylvania. these are wild phlox and wild geraniums.

Haha, but it was June before I ever dunked my fanny in the Delaware, so I guess you have a few weeks to wait. But that is not what I meant to comment about: Wild Phlox, the flowers are false, they are decoys, there is only one real flower among them, that is a real reproductive part of the plant, the rest are just to attract bugs to the plant so the real flower can get pollinated. (That's about as exciting as my sex life) I almost had forgotten this choice bit of information...
