| To determine the proper length, wrap the lengths of string around your wrist twice, then add an extra nine inches. Knot all nine lengths of string together, incorporating the charm into the knotted end. Leave enough of a tail at the end for closure, usually four or five inches. Use the three lengths of color as one strand and braid the lengths togethor. As you braid repeat the following chant: Friends forever, we are as one, bound together in joy and fun. Knot the ends together and tie around your wrist. |
