A COLLEGE EDUCATION DOESN'T GUARANTEE SUCESS. Many coleege graduates are failures. But, many who didn't even finish college succeeded. A study of 4,043 multi-millionaires by Ruseel Conwell, author of the classic " Acres of Diamonds", showed that only 69 reached high school.

If you can believe, you can achieve in spite of any handicap, Emile Zola got a zero in literature but he became a famous French novelist. Edison had only three months of schooling. Milton was blind. Beethoven was deaf. Westinghouse was " dull and backward," But they believed...and succeded.
• VISUALIZE OR MAKE A MENTAL PICTURE OF YOUR GOAL. Your mind is lile a magnet. It can attract to you the people, things and circumstances needed to make your dream come true. It works on images or pictures you hold in your mind and deeply feel about. so make a clear mental picture of what you want. see yourself as already having it. Feel it. If you want a car, see yourself in your mind driving it.
• STICK TO YOUR DREAM UNTIL YOU GET IT. Calvin Coolidge wrote: " Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common han unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race." When Thomas Alva Edison was inventing the electric bulb, he met 10,000 failures, But he pressed on and succeeded.
• PLAN STPE BY STEP. " It is by attempting to reach the top at a single leap that so much misery is produced in this world," wrote Cobbett. Plan and work towards your dream one step at a time. Charles Buxton said, " The road to success is not to be run upon by seven-leagued boots. Step by Step, little by little, bit by bit - that is the way to wealth, that is the way to GLORY.
• START NOW WITH WHAT YOU HAVE AND WHERE YOU ARE. Nothing happen until you start doing something about your dream. Charles Goodyear started his experiment on the vulcanizing of rubber in prison. The " Scrabble" game was first manufactured in a living room. Samuel F.B. Morse started his experiment on the telegraph using only parts of an o;d, broken clock.
• GET KNOW HOW. If you don't have the know-how, get it by reading books, magazines. Asked others who know. Interview people. Take a correspondence course. Attend seminars. Go back to school if needed. Edison would always begin nowing nothing about what he would like to invent. He'd read evrything he could find on th ework at hand till he'd become an expert.
• GET OTHER PEOPLE TO HELP YOU. Tesla was said to be brighter, but Edison produced more inventions because Edison got other men to help him. Andrew Carnegie had only FOUR years of schooling, but he became a multi millionaire and the Steel King of his time because he knew how to get men brighter than him to work for him.
• DO WHAT YOU CAN, NOT WHAT YOU CANT. The world will pay you for what you can do, not what ou can't. You may not be able to do a million things, but you can still succeed and gain financial independence by doing the one thing you can do well that the public wants. Pralytic Harry Doehla couldn't play basketball like Michael Jordan, but he could paint beautiful greeting cards. And that was enough to make him start and run a multi million dollar greeting card business from his wheelchair.
• FIND A NEED AND FILL IT. Examine every product with lasting success and you'll find that they have one thing in common: They fill a basic human need. Cosmetics fill's one's need to look beautiful and attractive. Restaurants fill one's need for appetizing food. Insurance fills one's need for security and self- preservation. Other products fill the need for romance, recognition, pleasure, love, power and wealth.
• GIVE SOMETHING BETTER. You don't have to give something unique, revolutionary, never-seen-before product or service to succeed to get rich. You only have to give something needed or useful that people want- BETTER THAN WHAT THEY ARE NOW GETTING. So take a product or service and ask yourself, " How can I give something better?"
• ADVERTISE AND PROMOTE YOUR IDEA, PRODUCT OR SERVICE. You may have the best product or service but people will not patronize you if they don't know about it and that you have it. It is important that you never stop telling and reminding people about you, your talent, your product or service.
