Scriptural Refernces

Nothing should be done in the church if it is not of God, or without his will.
Below you will find the scriptures that we use to show ourselves approved by
God. Most of the history in the Bible concerning flag use is in the Old
Testament.

Flags were used in times of war and to signify the different tribes of Israel.
When you consider the times that we are living in flags become appropriate no
matter how unconventional they may seem. After all, with abortion, divorce,
murder, drugs, and other forms of violence continually on the rise, THIS IS
WAR! It's time for the christians of our country and all across the world to
stand up and be counted instead of hiding in the shadows of satan's devices.

Psalm 20:5
We will rejoice in they salvation and in the name of our God we will set up our
banners: the Lord fulfill all thy petitions.

Numbers 1:52
And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp,
and every man by his own standard, throught their hosts.

Jeremiah 51:12
Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up
the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the Lord hath both devised and done
that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Jeremiah 50:2
Declare ya among the nations and publish, set up a standard; publish, and
conceal not: say, Babylon is taken Bel is confounded, Mer-o-dach is broken in
pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.

New Testament References

To see the actual verse of Matthew 21:8, please see the footer, below. The
likeness of this scripture also appears in the other gospels, in Mark 11:8 and
Luke 19:36. These scriptures are perhaps some of the most vital, because it
demostrates that they were using garments, (cloth), and branches, (sticks,
poles) anything thing they could get ahold of to praise, and show their
adoration to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Which in effect is the same
thing we are doing today. Flags of all types are no more than sticks and
fabric.
