It was a normal day down at headquarters. There wasn't anything really exciting going on today. No criminals to chase after, no people to arrest, no fights to break up. It was pretty normal. The headquarters were large and spacious. Gold rimmed around every corner. They were built and maintained by a very rich man, whose name happened to be Doctor Briefs. He worked as the boss of the police squad and gave the orders. He also decided the criminal cases. Mr. Briefs was also the richest man in the city, who also owned the Capsule Corporation compound, and had a nice little family.

Juuhachi Jinzouningen, a beautiful tall blonde haired officer, was sitting at the dining table reading the newspaper, again. She was eating a fairly large B.L.T ordered from Vinnie's, a local pizza and sub shop. A few of the crew members she worked with were sitting around her. They seemed to be off in their own worlds, doing their own stupid activities, which was usual. Juuhachi sweared she was the only cop on this squad with a brain.

Son Goku, was a respectable officer and had the speed and exhilaration to chase down any criminal at any given time. He was the fastest guy on the squad. He had spiky onyx hair that poked out in various directions. He was also a pretty tall guy. He believed in always doing what was right, which is what made him a good officer. Although, his only default was, his lack of intelligence to plan and give orders properly. This officer could never turn down a good challenge, that's why he was a respectable guy. He was on the left of Juuhachi stuffing his face. This guy had an unusually large appetite due to his heritage, the Saiya-jin race, which will be elaborated later.

Krillen Kuri, was a short and petite bald guy, and also had a huge crush on Juuhachi. This little guy was good in the tackling department. When Goku caught the guys, Krillin was quick enough to handcuff the guy while holding his knees in place so he couldn't move. Though, doubt his small size and bald head, Juuhachi thought he was pretty cute. He happened to be poking at a doughnut while throwing occasional glances at the respectable blonde officer.

Chichi Mau, was another of the woman officers on the squad. Juuhachi didn't really see a reason to keep her on the squad. Although, she did help Goku hunt down the criminals and she was really tough and could easily defend herself if need be. She had long flowing tresses of onyx that cascaded down until they reached the small of her back. She was Goku's girlfriend. At the moment, the raven haired girl was sighing and shaking her head at Goku's behavior.

The crew wasn't extremely large, only a group of four, but they were extremely skilled and that's all it took. They were the number one squad in the entire Police Department. In the headquarters, there were about ten different squads. Each one, seemingly larger than the last. Though, the officers weren't as skilled as any of the four in Squad Six.

In each of the squads, there was always an even number of people. Two people in the squads were assigned as partners to carry out their assignments. Chichi and Goku had been assigned as partners, so that left Juuhachi and Krillin as partners. This pair seemed more like a complete disaster than a perfect partnership. They'd always argue, over Krillin's mistakes, mainly. Although, that was another story for another day.

Walking down the hall of Squad Six was Sergeant Juunana Jinzouningen. He was Juuhachi's twin brother, although instead of the blonde locks, onyx locks were the replacement. They both had the same cold, icy blue liquid crystalline pools. The sergeant chuckled lightly and announced, "Sorry, If I'm interrupting your work, though to me, it looks like you weren't doing anything, anyway."

Juuhachi shot up from her newspaper and scowled at her twin. How she hated when he decided to do that without a moment's notice. "What do you want, Juunana?" To tell the truth, she wasn't really in the mood to deal with him today. The blonde haired woman would rather be out chasing criminals, which she despised doing, than sitting here and having to listen to his bullshit.

Juunana simply smirked and replied, "My, my. Someone is bitchy today, eh? Oh, and that's Sergeant Jinzouningen, to you." He watched his sister sneer as if to represent, 'whatever.' The sergeant cleared his throat and made his announcement coming directly from the Commander, "Squad Six, The commander needs you to carry out this task. If you achieve your goals, today. Each of you will get a promotion. There has been a serial killer running around the city. All the other squads have failed to catch him. We heard that he's quite taken with the Commander's daughter. He's looking out for his daughter's safety. We think that you guys are the only ones that can catch him. Bulma will join you on the case. She'll lure him out for you guys. Though, for some strange reason she said she didn't want to make it seem like she was betraying this guy. But anyway, you think you can do it?"

Captain Juuhachi Jinzouningen looked around at her squad who looked confident and ready to go. She nodded and replied, "Alright. Will do. Leave the job to us, we'll finish it." The captain knew that if she got the promotion, she'd be a Major, which would be a major achievement for her. She could leave the squad, too. Her brother, Juunana was in Squad Eight. The duty of a Major was hard work, but this tough woman could easily handle it. Plus, she could go out on bigger assignments than just catching crooks and stuff of the like.

Though, the rest of the squad was a little behind her in ranks. Son Goku, was a sergeant just like Juunana. Chichi Mau was a private. Krillin Kuri was a lieutenant. A thought raced through her mind. These guys would be nothing if they didn't have her on the squad, so she decided to stick around a little while longer, while at the same time fulfilling her duties as a Major. It'd be hard, but it was nothing she couldn't handle since she was devoted to her job.

The blonde came back to reality just as Juunana left the room. A serious look crossed her beautiful visage and then she called out the action. "Alright guys. Listen up. I'm only going to go over this once, so please pay attention. Especially you, Sergeant Son." Just then, Bulma walked in the room and waved. Juuhachi smiled, "Good timing Bulma chan." She watched Bulma giggle and then went back to discussing the plans. "Okay, the plans are. Bulma lures the criminal out. Goku, you'll grab him from behind and hold him there. Chichi, you'll knock the idiot off the head with something. Then Krillin, you grab him and hold him in place while arresting his ass, and then after that, I'll drag him back to headquarters."

They all nodded in agreement and then headed outside. The squad made their way over to the cruiser. Juuhachi thought it was a beautiful car, then again, she only thought that because she was the one that got to drive it. Bulma directed Juuhachi towards the criminal's hideout, which was hidden in a wooded area. Juuhachi stopped ten feet from the hideout and let Bulma out to do her dirty work.

Vanishing Prince

Bulma Briefs, a beautiful young eighteen year old with long flowing tresses of aquamarine, stepped out of the cruiser. The wind gently embraced her petite frame, making her denim summer dress cling to her curves more. Long, beautiful aquamarine tresses cascaded down to the small of her back and were also gently whipping themselves around in the breeze. She was the daughter of the richest guy in the city, Doctor Briefs.

The beautiful teenager made her way up the path. Aquamarine crystalline pools closed in on a shadowed figure sitting on the criminal's rooftop. Noticing the swept up flame-like hair, she smiled. It was the killer, whose name was Vegeta no Ouji. Her beautiful voice embraced the atmosphere of the desolate forest. "Vegeta," she called out to him.

The infamous serial killer turned around and stared down into the beautiful aquamarine eyes of his newly acquired 'pet,' as he proclaimed her. A smirk crossed his beautiful visage. His body was sculpted like a Greek God's. He had onyx hair that simply defied gravity and was swept up like flames. He also had deep onyx pools like Goku's, that you could simply get lost in. His complexion seemed to be a rich olive tan.

The dark creature jumped off the roof and spread his arms to reveal bat-like wings, that stretched out when he needed them. Other than that, they were molded into his skin in a bat tattoo on each arm. You could never tell he even had wings. When he landed a loud barking could be heard. Yes, his faithful companions, his canines were barking at what they thought was an intruder. Vegeta growled in annoyance and yelled, "Quiet or I'll come in there and behead all of you!!!" Whimpers seemed to replace the barking for a few quick moments before they quieted down.

He returned his attention the fallen angel standing before him. "What can I do for you today, Onna?" His hand was gently placed on her cheek and slowly started to soothe it. Upon moments he felt her cheek heat under the touch of his hand. A smirk spread across his luscious burgundy lips.

Bulma was flushing under the charming, yet evil, Prince's gentle touch. She never imagined that someone so violent, could be so gentle. She couldn't bring herself to move. A voice filled her mind quickly. 'No.. I love Yamcha. I can't be doing this!' She was about to pull back when something else caught her eye. It was Goku coming in for the 'kill.' Another voice flooded her mind. 'Oh no! Vegeta, turn around ... please, pretty please turn around. Forget about me and use your senses, turn around!!!!'

Vegeta was suddenly grabbed by Goku. He felt something flat and made of metal hit his head. It felt like ... a frying pan?! He snapped out of his confusion and quickly felt a short bald guy grab his legs and put handcuffs around his wrists. What was going on? Onyx pools drifted to Bulma and snarl crossed his face. "You," the angry murderer snapped.

Bulma felt ashamed and also felt like she betrayed him. Why did she even agree to do this? Gaining all her courage she cried out, "No, Vegeta! It's not my fault, please, believe me." Her gaze turned to the three officers behind him. "Stop! Let him go, please." She had gained the attention of the officers and Vegeta's as well. "As the daughter of the Commander of HeadQuarters, I command you to let him go!!" It was clear that she was being serious.

Juuhachi had been right behind Bulma listening to every word and decided to put in her two cents right now. "What?! Are you crazy?! I'm gonna miss a promotion for this! NO way! I'm taking him in. It's about time someone caught his ass, anyway. Really, Bulma Briefs, I would've thought better of you than to defend a cold hearted criminal. Besides, don't you have someone to attend to, like Private Yamcha Sanzoku? Hmm?"

Bulma came to realization that she had forgotten about a lunch date she had with Yamcha. 'Oh no, he'll kill me. I can't believe I forgot!' A growl slipped from her throat and she yelled back, "JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!" She sighed for a moment before returning her gaze to the officer giving her an icy glare.

Juuhachi didn't need to think long before she came up with a come back. "Gee, Bulma. I'd be glad to!" Her voice was dripping with clear sarcasm. "Unfortunately, I'm here on a case, arresting that ... monster! and I want my promotion!" She gathered her breath again and cooled off. Icy blues glancing over to see Bulma with an expression that said, 'selfish, arrogant, blazing idiot.' That expression earned the young girl a grunt from the Captain.

Vegeta was briefly shocked and quickly recovered. He didn't know his pet was the daughter of the Commander Briefs at Headquarters. He couldn't help but to glance coldly at the blue haired woman. Though, while they were talking, he took this moment to break the handcuffs around his wrists and smirk at them all as they looked at him upon hearing a metal snap. "Surprised you, didn't I?" His onyx pools shifted over to glance at Bulma, and he snapped, "C'mon pet. Let's get away from these bumbling morons." He grabbed her by the waist and took off into the sky. He'd get explanations out of her, after they got away from here.

Juuhachi sighed in frustration and kicked at the dirt. "Just fucking great. Not only did we lose the damn criminal, but we lost the Commander's bratty daughter, too. I am definately not having a good day! C'mon guys let's go tell the Commander what happened. I'm pretty positive he won't take it lightly."

The four squad members headed back to the cruiser and took off towards the station, hopefully, they could pull off breaking the news to the Commander without him blowing his top. Though, that'd be almost impossible.

At Headquarters

Juuhachi stood before the Commander, seeing as she was the Captain of the squad, she's the one that had to deal with all this business shit. "Commander, Sir. Captain Juuhachi Jinzouningen reporting." She tried not to let the least bit of nervousness slip into her voice.

Commander Briefs spun around in his chair and smiled at his number one Captain. "State your business."

Juuhachi took a big gulp and then began to elaborate, "Well, Sir. We managed to catch the serial killer. Our plan followed through perfectly. But, your daughter, sir..."

The Commander raised his eyebrow for a moment and broke in, "What about her, Captain?"

She took a deep breath wondering how he would take this, hopefully not too bad. She definately did not want to be out of a job, especially out of one that she loved. "She told us to unhand him at her command as your daughter. We told her it was not possible, though as strong willed as she is, she was persistant. Then, he broke free from his handcuffs and flew off with your daughter. I have squads out looking for them now, but I don't think they're going to be found anytime soon."

The Commander sighed and looked down at Juuhachi while thinking, 'Ugh! Who does he think he is?! Taking my daughter! I'll show him!' He sighed briefly and then replied, "Thank you, Captain Jinzouningen. You'd better find him and my daughter and bring them both in, or I just might have to demote your rank!"

Juuhachi nodded and left the room. When she closed the door behind her, she let out a deep breath. She didn't think he would take it so easy. Well, atleast she wasn't out of a job. Now, the only thing she had left to do was find the Commander's daughter. This time, she was going to need all the help that she could get, and it wouldn't be easy. Especially when a rank demotion was on the line.

Damn Brats!

The two semi-partners landed near Vegeta's house after the cops left. Each stayed silent before one of the canines came rushing out the door, greeting her master with several licks and a tackle to the ground. It was a gorgeous Akita. It's silk coat was completely black with grey tiger-like stripes and a black mask around the face. It had deep chocolate brown eyes, that were similiar to Vegeta's own in which you could get lost in.

Vegeta gently nudged the one hundred fifty pound bitch off of him. A smirk crossed his face as he got up. How he loved this dog, so loyal and compassionate. Onyx eyes shifted over to the woman. "Onna, you never told me you were the daughter of the Commander." His voice was packed with anger.

Bulma was admiring the beautiful dog until Vegeta's voice registered in her mind. 'Dammit. I knew I should've just told him the truth,' she scolded herself in her thoughts. A sigh escaped into the desolate forest and she spoke, "Well, what was I supposed to say?! That I am the daughter of the Commander and then have you not trust me?!"

Vegeta grunted, "I don't trust you as it is." It was a lie. One big lie. Though, he thought emotions were for the weak, and he'd decided to keep them hidden. A large, beautiful hand was extended petting the massive dog on the skull and then swiftly and gently scratching behind it's ears.

Bulma was losing her patience, and was enveloped by her anger. "Fine," she yelled hoping to catch his attention, "I don't need you. I'm leaving." With that, she turned and walked down the path mumbling curses under her breath. It was evident that he didn't care seeing as he wasn't stopping her. She should've known better.

The Prince turned his back to her and closed his eyes. 'Fine, pet. I'll let you be free, for a little while, but beware, I'm coming back for you, soon.' He stretched out his wings and flew over to his hideout. "Tora," he summoned the dog to follow him inside where a whole bunch of other dogs attacked him with affection.

Headquarters

Bulma had walked the whole distance to the station. She angrily flung the front door open and stormed down the hall, kicking the door open to Squad Eight's room. Upon entering, she found the person who she was looking for. That person was none other than, Yamcha. After seeing his face, her tense muscles eased and she smiled softly.

Yamcha was tall, with onyx short black spiked hair. He had onyx eyes, much like the Prince's. Only, his weren't as deep to find yourself lost in. A scar was carved in near his right eye, and just below, another was on his cheek. The young man smiled at his girlfriend. His voice wasn't as deep as the killer's, although, it was pleasant, atleast to some. "Hey Babe," he greeted the beautiful blue haired woman.

She seemed to be in her own world for a split moment before crashing back down to reality. "Hi Yamcha," she returned his greeting. Her arms extended around his neck and she pulled herself closer to his body. Closing the gap between them, her lips met his for a brief kiss and then swiftly retreated.

Yamcha noticed something different, she was acting strange, or not as moody. His concern led him to ask, "Are you alright?"

The fallen angel glared at him for a moment. Was she really that easy to read? Were her expressions really that easy to interpret? She hesitantly answered his question. "No... well, yes. Don't even ask me what's wrong. You'd never understand." These words, she spoke, were very true. If she had told him, he probably would've taken it the wrong way.

The young officer rolled his eyes. He joked, "Ah. It's a girl thing. Okay, I see. You're right, I wouldn't understand. I'm clearly not a woman." A smile crossed his own elegant face as he saw her smile which lightened the moment. Onyx eyes shifted to catch a glance of the time when he saw it was time to go home. He stepped closer to her, and touched her cheek with his smooth, yet rough hands. "My shift is over. I'm sorry, babe. I wish you could come home with me, but I have errands to run. I'll see you, maybe, hopefully tonight?"

Bulma lit with joy and responded, "Yeah. I'll stop by at eight, okay?" Her day brightened even more when she saw him nod in response. She kissed him once again and exchanged goodbyes with the young Private Sanzoku. A few minutes after she left and broke out of her wonderful daydream-like state, she headed out in the hall to run into a cursing Juuhachi.

The Captain was walking down the hall towards her squad room when she almost walked right into Bulma. You could only guess what the first words from Juuhachi's mouth were. "WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?! I HAD FIVE SQUADS OUT LOOKING FOR YOU! UGH, YOU LITTLE BRAT! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH TROUBLE YOU CAUSED?!"

Bulma was staring wide-eyed at the captain. "Okay, Juu. Please, calm down. Calm down first, and then I'll answer your questions." The Captain was still fuming. With her in that state, her telling the Captain what happened wouldn't help the situation. A few moments later, the young woman seemed calm and Bulma finally answered. "I was with Vegeta. We had a little arguement and I walked back here. There. Now I'll see you later. I'm going out for lunch." With that, the little 'brat' exited the halls and aimed for the exit.

Juuhachi was still clueless. 'She had an arguement with that idiot, and he didn't kill her? Either it's me or something fishy is going on here. I definitely have to find out what!' She promised herself to remember to ask Bulma later. Now, that the brat was found, there was business to take care of. A plan, on how she was gonna capture the serial killer. A little nap to cool down would be perfect. So, that's what she did, the captain napped placidly.

At The Hideout

Vegeta stood staring out the window in his bedroom. A scowl was worn on his handsome face, which was nothing new. He made himself a promise. 'I'll make you my own, Onna. Just wait and see.'

Annoyances

Juuhachi was strolling down the halls when a tall green namekian came up to her. Her icy blue eyes were staring at the ground as she walked so she didn't see him come up to her, but actually bumped into him. Her eyes were pried off the floor and onto the young Major standing infront of her. It was Major Piccolo Daimou. 'Now I feel stupid,' she thought, embarassed.

Piccolo was a tall, green and handsome namekian, also a Major. He stared down at Juuhachi and grunted. A few moments of silence passed before he spoke, "Captain Juuhachi Jinzouningen." He was sent with a request from the Commander to find her and bring her on their latest assignment. "Captain, The Commander is giving you an assignment. You'll be working with my partner, Jun'ai Kingusari and Me."

The tall, blonde-haired woman fixed her slack posture and stood up straight. A firm nod was given. "Okay. So, what is the assignment?" She had to atleast know what she was doing, that would've been some helpful information.

The young Major gave her another grunt and responded, "Bank Robbery." This one wasn't very social. He was rathered, reserved and only spoke when he was talking to his partner or giving orders from the Commander. Maybe there were a few other times when he said something, but that was about it. Onyx pools glanced over to see a bright, cheerful woman with pink hair, known as his partner, skipping merrily down the hall. 'Sometimes, I wonder, when that girl is going to grow up,' he snickered to himself.

Jun'ai loved annoying her sensitive eared partner, so she screeched, "Piiiiiiiccoooooloooo saaaan!" A giggle escaped her as she watched her partner cringe in pain. Her index and middle finger lightly grasped the edge of Piccolo's ear and she tugged on it gently. The cheerful eighteen year old let it go and then jumped up and put her arms around his neck, catching him in an embrace. "Are you ready to go, P san?!"

Piccolo hated the things this woman did to him. Pinching and tugging his ear, screeching, hugging him, tripping him, and many other things, as well. He had to deal with this every day, you think you'd get use to it after a while. He mumbled, "If I had a gun I would shoot myself." Onyx pools glared into Jun'ai's own beautiful pink crystalline eyes. "Yes, I'm ready. I believe Captain Jinzouningen is ready, as well. Now, Let's go." The namekian instantly started down the hallway and towards the door.

Soon enough, the three of them were inside the cruiser. It was silent for a while until Jun'ai decided to turn on the radio and have a little fun.

The pink-haired woman turned on the radio and 'Aaliyah - More Than A Woman' was on. She pretended to gag and changed the station. The song that was on, was 'Avril Lavigne - Sk8er Boi.' Jun'ai didn't necessarily like Avril, but she certainly didn't want to listen to rap or R&B. A bored sigh was given and she decided to bug Piccolo. "P san, are we there yet?"

The Major knew where this was going. He had to sit here and argue with Jun'ai every day, until he just grunted in a response. "No."

       "Are we there yet?"

       "No!"

       "Are we there yet?"

       "NO! NOW BE QUIET!"

       "Are we there yet?"

The only way to end this game, Piccolo grunted.

"Spoilsport." Jun'ai loved to act like a little kid just to bother her partner. She was only eighteen and really loved to live her life to the fullest. Though, there was one secret she kept really good. Major Jun'ai Kingusari had a crush on Major Piccolo Daimou. Wasn't it obvious? She was the shy intellectual type, when you really got to know her. Other than that, she loved being obnoxious like a little kid.

Jun'ai Kingusari, was a beautiful girl with long, dark pink locks flowing to the middle of her back. Her eyes were mixed with a little bit of blue, but were mostly crystalline pink. She had an olive complexion. The young one had a couple of piercings as well. One ring was pierced through her eyebrow, and about eight rested on each ear.

Juuhachi just watched the scene while chuckling to herself, thinking of some situations where Krillin had gotten on her nerves, something similiar to that, a few times.

On The Other Side of Town

Bulma was walking down the street towards the Capsule Corporation compounds, her home. She was focused on thoughts of Vegeta when she saw a shadowed figure run by, and heard footsteps behind her. She spun around only to see Vegeta standing behind her. 'Why does he always have good timing like this? I just don't get it!'

Vegeta smirked at his 'pet.' "Well, well, well, if it isn't the onna. Out of my way, pet! I have something important to do!" Three dogs came up beside him, one of them happened to be Tora, the Akita that Bulma met earlier.

'What does he think I am? An idiot?' She was chuckling to herself. If he really had something important to do, he probably would've pushed her out of the way and left, already. She decided not to spoil his fun, yet. "What do you want Vegeta? Come to sic your dogs on me for yelling at you?"

"A word of advice, Onna. If I were in your position, I'd watch how you talk to me. I may end up killing you." He said the last words with a slight hint of venom in them. Not enough to be a threat, but just a warning. Even though, he'd admit that he couldn't bring himself to kill her.

Bulma decided that now would be the best time to ruin his fun. "If you had something important to do, I believe you'd've gone already, and if you're gonna kill me, then why don't you just do it now?! I'm standing right here." She crossed her arms and held a smirk like Vegeta's. She didn't even realize she was doing it.

Seeing her smirk, made him smirk. A few moments after his expression returned to his scowl and he snapped, "Like I said, I have things to do." He pushed her out of his way and whistled to the canines. They immediately followed him.

The young blue haired beauty smiled and laughed in victory. If anyone knew Vegeta, it had to be her. 'I'm not through with you, yet, Vegeta. Just wait 'til we see eachother again.' What kind of plans would she have for the prince, next time? Who knows what runs through that girl's mind.
