| ~Maya~ | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Maya came to me at 5 1/2 years of age. She is not a typical Aussie because of her beautiful tail, perk ears, and white face. She is my example to people of a dog that was loved to much. She is extremely dominant aggressive and will bite to get her own way. When I took Maya in she was extremely food, resource, touch aggressive, and was plainly out of control. We've battled through a lot of her problems with tears and blood shed. Underneath it all she can be a wonderful dog. She is my 'take-down' dog, my partner in working other aggressive dogs, and my noisy distraction dog. She has been the hardest dog that I have ever had to work with and as a result I have learned many different styles & methods of training because of her. Although I have to manage her aggression on a daily basis she is dear to my heart knowing how drastically she has changed from the first day I brought her home. Maya will be 8 yrs this spring. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| ~Finn~ | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Finn is my hope for a show-stopper. By 10 weeks of age he already knew all his basic commands and a few tricks. He is showing a lot of herding instinct at 5 months, and is a real deal border collie! I have high hopes for him as a partner in obedience and trick and frisbee work. In March, Finn & I joined Redline Dogsports Flyball Team. In three weeks he has mastered running the hurdles, and is developing a nice swimmer's turn off the box. He is very calm at practice - quietly watching the older dogs run the relay - but he drives hard when his turn comes around. Obedience, frisbee, flyball...his next challenges will be agility & herding! I don't think there will be anything he can't do! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Blazingstar Brown Ruff WC CD ~ INDY | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Indy is an amazing dog to work with as he strives to please his handler in any way he can. He has exibited his working ability in field trails and most recently in the Alberta Kennel Club obedience ring (Feb.'07). To the delight of myself, and his owners, Indy received his CD title in his first try and wrapped up the weekend with the Highest Aggregate Score in Trail (an amazing accomplishment I'm told). I am hoping to handle him at the Lethbridge Dog Show (June '07) for his CDX obedience title. Outside of work, Indy is a typical Flat-Coat: full of energy, kissing everyone, carrying things in his mouth - everything a retriever is meant to be! Thank you to Indy's owners, Katheryn & Brad Taylor, for letting me work with Indy and bring home some titles!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
