Pat was finishing up a phone call when they all entered her office. PYep, I'll be sure to call you. Bye."

She opened up her daybook, wrote something before she smiled at them. "Hey girls, I expect rehearsal went well?"

"Yep," Sara said choosing to lean against the wall instead of sitting.

"Well, I found out lunch couldn't happen, some of you have plans," Pat said, "which is okay?"

"Is this about our next album?' Dani asked curiously.

"Well, see, Jive wants one more music video out of you guys before we go in the studio," Pat explained.

"What song?" Sara asked.

"It's up to you," Pat said holding out her hand as if to say, 'give me your choices.'

"I want to use Goodbye to You," Sara said.

"Okay, does anyone else want that song," Pat said.

"Actually, that song is a really good choice," Kayla said giving Sara a smile. Soon everybody else agreed too.

"Great, I'll start sending it to different directors and getting points of view," Pat said making a note of it. "Or do you ahve any ideas that you want to share?"

Sara took a deep breath. "I have an idea." She nearly changed her mind but she made herself continue. "Okay, I though the song could open up with us onstage at a nightclub or a bar. Dani would play the guitar since of course, she played it on the recording."

"I like it so far," Pat said interrupting her for a moment.

"There's more," Sara said getting to the main concept of the video. "There is this girl, who can be playd by anyone, sitting on a bus by the window. She's moving like she's restless nad tears are falling silently down her face." Sara paused before continueing. "Then there's this guy who is coming back to his apartment from school or work and he sees the note on the table. He reads it and hurries to the bedroom where we see the closet full of empty hangers and dresser drawers open with nothing in them. He sits on the bed and starts to cry. He can put his head in his hands or something. We can also do flash backs to their relationship or something. Then at the end, you know the last line is 'We the stars fall and I like awake, your my shooting star.' I thought we could have each of them staring out the window at the stars."

Everyone sat there quietly and Sara looked at each of them uneasily.

"That has got to be the saddest concept I've heard,' Kayla said sounding sad. "But it's perfect. How long have you been imagining that video in your head?"

"Ever since I wrote it," Sara said truthfully.

"I like it a lot," Dani said soflty.

Pat and Krisen both nodded. It was a great concept and Sara was awesome for coming up with it.

"I have the perfect director in mind too," Pat said smiling. "George Peters would be pefect. Plus, he would let you work with him Sara. Together, you two could come up with a great hit."

Sara looked nervous. "Oh, I don't have to help direct it."

"Yes you do," Pat said ignoring her protest. "It's your video, your song, your idea. I think the girls would agree. You will help direct it."

Dani nodded. "You should help. Then you coudl possibly get into directing some day. You come up with great concepts Sara."

"Then it's settled. I will contact George and you guys just go have fun,' Pat said already dismissing them by picking up her phone.

Sara walked out of Jive with dani. "How am I going to help direct? I've never even done it before."

"George will help you," Dani said logically.

Sara nodded. "I guess."

"Now I need help," Dani said.

"With what?" Sara asked confused.

"I'm going out with Wade today," Dani said smiling like an idiot.

"You finally asked him! Yeah, I am so proud of you," Sara said giving her a hug.

"He asked me actually," Dani said chuckling at Sara's enthusiasm.

"Well, same thing," Sara said rolling her eyes. "Where are you going?"

"To lunch I think," Dani said not sounding sure.

"Simple then," Sara said opening hte passanger door to Kayla's car. "You can get to konw him better. Ask questions, guys love when girls want to know about them."

"That's your advice," Dnai said.

"Yep, I know you will do fine. It's just a date. A first dat and they always suck," Sara said.

"I think I'm gonna be sick," Dani said holding ehr stomache.

"No you won't," Sara said smiling. "Just relax."

Dani rolled her eyes but said goobye. She hurried to her car, she wanted to get home, and change before Wade picked her up.

Kayla smiled when she noticed AJ in Brian's living room. Thank God Sara had talked her into coming in. She really wanted to talk to AJ. "So rehearsal went better than yesterday," Brian said to Kayla.

Sara was in the bathroom and her smile had probably inspired Brian to ask.

"Much better," Kayla said smiling. "Dani apologized although Kristen is still pissed."

"Well, Kristen is hurt," AJ said speaking up. "I mean it hurt when someone cheats on you."

Kayla stared at him for a couple seconds before answering. "Yeah and some people cheat because they have no clue how the other person feels about them."

AJ glared at her. "Maybe the person was waiting for the cheater to admit to their feelings."

"While I can pretty much guarantee that the cheater as you put it has never had to put their feelings on the line before," Kayla said glaring back at him.

Brian's eyes went back and forth a couple times before he slowly backed out of the room. This was obviously a private conversation.

Aj glanced at his hands before he looked back at her. "Is that how Nick feels or how...well...you feel?"

"Me," Kayla admitted.

"Why did you go out with that guy?" AJ asked. Kayla almost began to cry when she saw the pain in his eyes.

"I went out with Dustin because, I wanted to. I enjoyed the time I spent with him," Kayla said her voice wavery.

"Are you going to see him again?" he asked.

Kayla sighed. "Yes," she said deciding the truth was better this time. When AJ closed his eyes Kayla added softly, "as friends."

AJ looked up at her curiously. "Why as friends?"

"Because although I had tons of fun and he seemed interested. I could think of only one thing the whole time," Kayla said turning so her back faced him.

"What?"

"You," Kayla said and AJ barely heard her. "The whole time you never left my mind."

AJ stood up and walked over to her. "I thought of yo uall through the break."

"Really," Kayla said turning slowly to face him.

"Yeah really," AJ said shaking his head. "You can't tell me you didn't know that. That I would think of you."

"I didn't really think you wouldn't. But we left for the vacation without really deciding what we were. I had no clue if you were serious or if you were just messing around," Kayla said biting on ehr bottom lip.

"I was and still am serious about you," AJ said pulling her closer. He set his hands on her hips and gave her sexy grin. "I like you a lot. You are a lot like me only female. When I found out you saw someone else, I thought you were just messing around."

Kayla gave him a smile that made his toes curl. "I like you too. You can make me laugh so easily."

AJ leaned down and gave her the softest most sweetest kis she had ever had in her life. They would have sontinued but they heard clapping coming form the door.

"It's about time you guys admitted your feeling to eachother," Sara said with a big smile on her face.

Kayla smiled back. When she woke up this morning, she never thought today would be the day AJ in her would become a couple. But now that it had, today was definitely a day to remember.
