MUSHROOM BROILED HALIBUT

Ingredients
  • 2 cups thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise 2
  • tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Grated gingerroot or � tsp. Dried
  • � tsp each salt and pepper
  • 4 halibut steaks or fillets
Preparation

In bowl. Mix together mushrooms, onions, mayonnaise, parsley, lemon juice, ginger, salt and pepper; set aside.

Place fish on greased rimmed baking sheet or broiling pan; broil for 5 minutes. With lifter, turn fish over. Spread mushroom mixture evenly over fish. Broil until mushroom mixture is golden brown and fish flakes easily when tested. 5 minutes.
