PICKLED EGGS

Ingredients
  • 1 Dozen Eggs cooked to hard boiled
      BROTH
    • 1-1/2 cups white vinegar
    • 1/2 cups water
    • 2 Tbs. brown sugar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 clove garlic halved
    • 1/2 tsp celery seed
    • 3 peppercorns
    • 2 whole cloves
    • 1/8 tsp ground mace
    Preparation

    Over medium heat bring to boil reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Strain. Put 1 Doz. cooked and peeled eggs in a jar, cover with strained broth, cool & refrigerate. Add sliced onions if desired
