Chicken Livers with Mushrooms & OnionsIngredients
Rinse chicken livers, drain and pat dry. Place the flour on a sheet of wax paper. Coat livers with flour. In a 12 inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over moderately high heat. Add chicken livers, mushrooms and onion. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until the chicken livers are just slightly pink inside. Stir in the broth, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with hot cooked rice. Comments by Lady Di: Very Good - November 2, 1999 |
