Almond Crust for Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
  • 4 slices white bread
  • � cup toasted sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt & pepper to taste
Preparation

In food processor, pulse bread until in fine crumbs with some larger pieces about the size of rice. Combine bread crumbs with almonds, drizzle with butter, tossing with fork. In another shallow dish, lightly beat together egg, salt and pepper

Dip chicken breasts in egg mixture then press into crumb mixture. Bake in 375o oven until golden, crisp and no longer pink inside about 30 minutes
