Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 8 oz Mushrooms or 2 cups fresh
  • 2 onions sliced thinly
  • 1 1/2 cups beef stock
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (or less)
  • 3 tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp paprika (optional)
  • Sherry
Preparation

Coat beef in flour, salt pepper. Cook beef in oil till browned. Transfer to slow cooker. Add onions & mushrooms. Combine beef stock, Worcestershire tomato paste. Mix well. Add to pot & then add sherry to taste. Cook 4 - 6 hours. Before serving over noodles add sour cream.
