Margaret Currie’s Delicious Cheese Ball
Cream together:- 1 250 g container McLaren's Imperial Sharp Cold Pack cheddar cheese, room temperature
- 1 250 g package Philadelphia cream cheese, room temperature
Add and mix well:- ¼ cup sour cream
- 2 tsp. dry minced onion or very finely chopped green onions
- 2 tsp. very finely minced celery
- ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Crushed walnuts to roll onto cheese ball when ready
Cream all ingredients together, and shape into a ball. Wrap in tin foil and chill for at least 2 hours. When firm, roll in crushed walnuts. Serve with crackers.
Rated: If the cheese ball is not firm enough, the walnuts will sink into the ball and not stay on the outside.
