Biology is the study of life. Most students who are in the medicine magnet program will probably have Mr. Traugh for their biology teacher. In this course, you will learn the different phylums of organisms, as well as their sub-phylums and classes. In the sample notes, you will get an idea of what this is like. Learning the different parts of the animal is also important because toward the end of the year, you will disect many animals, such as the frog, crayfish, etc... In addition to that, you will learn one of the most interesting subject--REVOLUTION. Cell division, cell structure, cell energy, genetics, genes, chromosomes, virus, and bacteria are some of the subjects that Mr. Traugh will also teach. This course requires a lot of studying. Your ability to take notes and to listen must be strong because notes taking is a big part of Mr. Traugh's class. Pop quiz is very common in his class, so you must study every night. With hard work and dedication, you will have no problem.
