| THE BUTTKICKER works it�s magic with the other SENSURROUND films as well, but in varying degrees of satisfaction - the least being ROLLERCOASTER, which is interesting since more of the film�s soundtrack was mixed for used in the SENSERROUND mode. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA has a surprisingly low amount of �boom� factor given the nature of the movie. However, since the film wasn�t originally mixed for SENSURROUND this shouldn�t be surprising. But, on another note I do remember when BATTLESTAR GALACTICA was aired for the first time on Network TV it did have more bass than this DVD release. This though is probably due to the mastering process or in the final tweaks done in preparation of the glass master. |
