Police Files: Unlocked
The program looks at police operations from Australia and around the world, including high speed police pursuits, police stings and surveillance operations. At the end of one story, a graphic appears on the screen that tells of the action of the offender, and occasionally what the action would be if the offender was caught in Australia. The program claims that the vision is from actual police tapes.

Ditch is back on Telly

WAAPA graduate, former Blue Heeler, Ditch Davey returns to the small screen in a new Channel 7 series, Police Files Unlocked.
The new series, at 8pm,follows WA made factual television series The Force, which is on Seven at 7.30pm on Wednesday after moving from Tuesday nights.
Davey, who has taken sometime out since Blue Heelers wrapped to go travelling, hosts the new program.??Its very unexpected to be back on telly so soon. Its all happened quite fast," he said.

Im doing a play in Melbourne at the moment and traveling to Sydney to film the show, so Im just trying to keep my head above water at the moment. ??Ive spent the lastfive years playing a copper on Heelers and working closely with a police adviser on the set, so Ive been quite fortunate to get an insiders view of the job.

"I have an enormous respect for the work they do so when I was asked to host this program, it seemed like a good fit for me. ??Ive done a few presenting roles before, but I still consider myself a newcomer. Its great fun, but its the total opposite of what you do as an actor. Having to look straight down the barrel of the camera and be yourself is completely new territory. ??Police Files: Unlocked featureshigh-speed action including police pursuits, high-tech surveillance and police sting operations from Australia and around the globe caught on tape.
