Columbia Heights is located in the heart of Washington just a mile north of the White House.  Columbia Heights has five main streets going north to south and four east to west. Whether you're driving or using our fine public transportation system Columbia Height's convenient location makes us easy to reach no matter what direction you're coming from.  And best of all the Columbia Heights Green Line subway stop opened September 18, 1999. Our virtual subway line is also operating. The trip is free so please hop on and exit at the Columbia Heights Station.
