District Governor Larrie's Objectives As we enter the new Millenium, we must recognize that our communities, and our communities needs, are changing. To help us address these challenges, International President Jean Behar has adopted as his vision for the Lionistic Year 2000/2001: Quality: Key to the Future At this critical time in our history, President Behar advocates that it is essential that we renew our commitment to: QUALITY MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT QUALITY LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS AND QUALITY PUBLIC RELATIONS To summarize President Jean's vision: Quality Members + Quality of Leadership + Quality Image equals Active, Attractive Clubs Organizations which People would Seek to Join To support and reinforce President Behar's vision of quality, I will promote THREE THEMES and stress a coordinated membership development/extension/leadership development program (MEL) during my year as District Governor.
